You can just be like "I haven't read any of the people you mentioned but I've never seen art that I think is good from someone of a left-wing political background," you don't have to squirm around dodging questions and making nonsense replies.
i have read and seen.

again, simply making media is not art.

i did not make any "nonsense replies". you seemed to equate media with artistic statements, which was exactly my entire thesis at the beginning of my arrival into this thread. leftist lack proper brain function, their brain operates much like how animal brains work. therefore are incapable not just of rational, humanist civic and political thought, but also artistic thought.

artistic tendency is intrinsically linked to right wing thought and existentialism.

art as a concept is right wing. do not doubt leftist can do pale imitations and forgery though. leftist "Art" is simply a bastardization of right wing expression.

wasnt captain america's debut issue about punching hitler
indeed. but that was in 1941. america hated nazis back then. those people are long dead, nazism is mainsteam and en vogue and people happily comply.

captain america back then was a right wing icon (hello, his name was captain AMERICA), punching leftists.

america as a whole, as well as it's right wing heroes, have been culturally appropriated by the left. that's how the devil works. corrupt what is familiar and use it as a way to infiltrate minds. been that way for a long ass time. they turn right wing icons into leftist mouthpieces and foot soldiers. it's not just captain america, it's everything, it all media

What happened when Dostoevsky stopped being a socialist and became a conservative Orthodox Christian? Did his brain physically transform? If you seriously believe what you're saying right now you're just goofy. You are living a fantasy and I'll leave you to enjoy it

no fantasy, just science.

mr. d was not a socialist. at best he was a deeply conflicted and downright confused individual who didn't seem like he knew what he believed

Probably a number of factors.

For me anime and reading were part of a routine that can't exist. I would wake up, go to uni, study, go home, watch an hour or two, play some games with friends before reading a chapter as I went to bed. Now I just wake up, go to computer, get off computer and go to sleep. I guess too much time to indulge makes it less fun, there may also be the lockdown depression lol.

I saw an uptick in reading for people who wanted to use the lockdown time to establish new positive habits, but I don't know how much of that was a fad and how much of it stuck. Great to see more people reading though.
I would expect that lots of people have dropped off hobbies they previously enjoyed, it's just not something people normally talk about because they don't want to upset people or show how bad it's been mentally.

EDIT: Sorry for the grammatical errors, running on fumes at the moment :p
too true.

My routine went from getting up, reading on the train, working in the office till late, read on the train, get home, cook eat clean then game or read until sleeptime.

Now its get up and work on the computer until its time to cook / clean etc.

i feel like if I say the magic words 'nazism isn't left wing' your response will be that it has socialism in the name
or maybe you're referring to a later issue where he punched stalin. I don't actually care that much about comics

his argument seems to be "if I don't like it it's not art" which I have to grudgingly respect. It goes well with his other opinion, "if I don't like it it's not right-wing"

nazis were left wing. not just because of the socialism (they chose the name BECAUSE of their socialist economics), but also their extreme dislike and persecution of right wing people, ideology, policies, etc....his vocal opposition to anything remotely right wing...there was nothing right wing about nazis, right wing thought and ideology stems from judaism and christianity

I mean you can decide the term means anything you want and it'll be true at least for you, I suppose. So Austria's Fatherland Front, which had more or less the exact same political beliefs but was avowedly Christian, was right-wing and the National Socialists were left-wing?

if the fatherland front had the same views as the nazis, they were left wing too, obviously.

term means anything you

me? what about me? this has nothing to do with what I think it means. they were left wing regardless of whether or not I was ever born. I mean, all this stuff is documented it's not a mystery or even confusing. hitler wrote (TWO books) and spoke constantly about the "evils" of the right wing and right wing ideals and how they destroyed (or wre destroying) europe and germany. their hatred of the right wing and right wing continues to this very day in leftist political parties today

Okay, who's actually right-wing? Coke-sniffing Republican reps? Your pastor? Or is it just you? Are you the only one?

coke sniffing is a left wing thing. some republicans are right wing, though the party has drifted from the right wing extremism it was founded as. i don't have a pastor, nor am i a member of any church

i mean, the list of right wing people is centuries long. i don't really know what kind of request "who is right wing", is. the founders of the modern right wing are people like Abraham Lincoln or Napolean Bonaparte, but i have a feeling you meant something else. you ask this as if you have some doubt hitler was left wing...are you a holocaust denier?

No, I'm not. Putting aside the idea of cocaine being specifically left-wing for a minute, what right-wing beliefs would you say Lincoln and Napoleon had in common? Legitimately trying to wrap my head around what your views are because they don't seem to have any internal consistency. If you want to just describe what you actually believe in detail that would be even better but I'm not holding out any hope for that.

imperialism, republicanism, military dictatorship, abolition of theocracy and racialism, capitalism

napolean was the european embodiment of the political and civic ideas found in the enlightenment era and had little desire for leftist ideas like democracy and forged new ideas like fair trials and such. napoleon was a waypoint to fascism

but lincoln was the solidification of the idea....i mean, you've heard of the US civil war, right? complete military destructive of a leftist rebellion in order to secure American Supremacy and ensure the US' manifest destiny?

Well, I get where you stand now. It is strange that you think only a hyperspecific and fairly modern strain of political thought represents the "right" and it doesn't really make sense to characterize every single other political ideology, even ones very similar to yours or diametrically opposed to one another, as left. Even among other people with your views this is a really odd way to talk and doesn't get your ideas across effectively at all. And I'll leave off by saying that claiming only Bonapartist art is real art is beyond strange and veers into the realm of nonsense

i think its only confusing to you because you arent that bright? theres nothing strange or narrow about any of this, this is pretty common political compass stuff

i also never said anything about "bonapartist art". i said leftist cant create art, and what they create is stolen from right wing ideal. artistic expression is itself a right wing concept

i dont remember seeing 'right wing means you can make art, left wing means you can't' anywhere on the wikipedia page for political spectrum, though

ah yes, reliable wikipedia.

art is an existentialist exercise. being able to apply meaning to symbols is something that separates man from animal. existentialism and the notion of man being divided from animal is right wing. leftists do not believe in this idea

a caveman getting stones in a cave and painting a bison on a wall is a practice in symbolism and religious practice, something beyond leftist understanding. because art is isnpired and drawn from the divine part of the human mind and experience, and leftists do not believe in a god/gods, such a concept is incompatible, which is why leftist "art" is consistently devoid of substance or depth or deep symbolic meaning. the leftist brain is incapable of doing things in this way. the leftist brain is like an old TV. it can get 2 or 3 channels, and it will display them dully with little vibrancy, color or LIFE

the right wing mind and experience is like 4k TV. extreme detail and resolution able to detect every delicious, supreme pixel of this thing we call life

the leftist isn't an atheist because they have found some sort of "konwledge" or "discovery" that undoes thousands of years of humanity across the globe. they are incapable of faith because they can never expereince what it truly is to be human. it's because their brain only gets 3 black and white channels. that is why truly humanist concepts like love or art is so foreign or hard to grasp. they think gods are "sky daddies" and conflate lust with love.
