I'm accidentally an insect/arachnid keeper because my apartment is underground. I like my insectoid roommates.somewhat of a late reply here but I'm an insect/arachnid keeper! I've had scorpions, spiders, mantises, roaches, and one Tailless Whip Scorpion in my collection so far! I need a tarantula next tbh
That's actually really interesting. What type of content do you torrent?Torrenting, I don't even torrent for the content I just like the management of storage I have to do.
Things with high file sizes .Which is unfortunately usually porn , but I try to stay away from those torrents. Obscure movies and shows are my go-to for things like that. 4k Movies should be my go-to since they have such high file sizes , but I don't have a 4k display to use. I also like the seeding part of torrenting .I tend to seed more torrents than I download. Seeing all these people from around the world having the same goal as you is kinda nice , and the community of torrenting has always been friendly to me. There's also the hardware part which I love. I've always loved computers , managing multiple systems has always been my strong suit. I have 3 computers solely used for torrenting .These computers have around 500 gb each , so its not much but the management and thinking I have to do is very nice .It is always the "is this torrent worth another one for the space?" or "if I deleted this torrent would the torrent die off from my lack of seeding?". Im sure this is quite a text wall , but I do hope you take the time to read it.That's actually really interesting. What type of content do you torrent?
I don't think I've ever met someone that gets more pleasure from torrenting than the content, but that's pretty neat. I can definitely understand how you'd get satisfaction out of sharing content and information with other people.Things with high file sizes .Which is unfortunately usually porn , but I try to stay away from those torrents. You should try, it's pretty easy peasy! Many places in the world are decriminalizing them, and posessing spores are 100% legal in many parts of the world too. A newbie can have a very good successful first batch, and if you're keen to it, you can improve yield much easily. Startup cost, less than $300, a very very very nice setup less than $1000. And you can grow so many more types too!Nice! I've grown mushrooms before, but never the psychedelic varieties.
Honestly, this has potential. You should keep at it.Rom hacking has been a tremendous on and off again interest of mine for 10 years now. I worked on several incomplete Fire Emblem Rom hacks, and last year I was working on a Pokemon Red hack where instead of Kanto you explore the internet. Each town is a 4chan board, and Pokemon are replaced by memes. I completed up until the first gym and released a private patch just for friends before abandoning the project. Here are two promotional videos I did for those curious: Introduction: (link) and Rival Battle (link). Here are some additional screenshots as well.
Thank you! It was mostly time and other irl concerns that forced me to quit the project, not lack of motivation/interest. One day I might return to itHonestly, this has potential. You should keep at it.
Yo, I thought I was a weirdo. Glad to see someone else who enjoys it. I will go to one of my main sites and literally just loads up whatever the most recent 50 torrents I don't have are. It used to be anything, but these days its primarily a bunch of movies/shows. I had so much content my friend suggested I start a media server and I kinda just rolled with it. I used to delete stuff because I had limited space, but now I just buy more storage instead. Almost reached my 16TB NAS limit and am going to upgrade to a NAS station build here soon because the sheer amount of processing fucks my workstation PC.Torrenting, I don't even torrent for the content I just like the management of storage I have to do.
There are a couple of things that interest me .I've been looking into raspberry pi's for torrenting, apparently they only use about 15w of power so this would be ideal for me .NAS's are cool aswell , they're kinda pricey for my tastes though .Also, what's your share ratio? mine is currently .78 .Yo, I thought I was a weirdo.
