Aside from the media sounding the alarms about incels and 4chan, this story will be dropped as quickly as the Brooklyn subway shooter. I've seen the media whitewash mugshots before, would be interesting to see if they do it again in this case. I suspect the Yakub poster is his version of a falseflag, but who knows maybe he was just that kind of crazy. Good riddance, hope the victims recover.

Randy Stair was able to actually kill people, so this guy actually did worse. There seems to be this new breed of massacres motivated more by nihilism than anger or rejection. The guy seemed to have gotten so into edgy chan meme culture that he just started killing people for no reason. This has happened before (most notably the Christchurch mosque massacre). These guys kind of remind me of myself in my mid teens. I was big into showing off how edgy and in the know I was on meme culture. Now I look back at that and cringe. But a lot of people just refuse to grow out of it and it eventually becomes their entire personality. I used to make jokes about school shootings regularly. Some people actually perform these acts for the sheer irony. These people are degenerates.

Funny how I just saw this on the farms and yet just felt numb seeing it.

It's like the third episode of Lain where she and her friends were discussing the events of the previous episode but one of them note that they shouldn't be treating this a "normal" thing. That's where we are now at this point. Creepy really.

As for shooting, I don't know what went down but isn't the first-time a retard was doing this while on /pol/. So, I really don't have much to say at this point.

A lot of these people as you point out have felt nothing but nihilism around their lives with some having the unfortunate conclusion of taking actions on people in order to return to some form "normalcy". Whatever that entails. Strangely I'm reminded of this video right here.
