    There sure are a lot of ads... Not that I'm complaining, given the beauty of this place. But I do wish there weren't quite so many... Will they go away if I throw money at Pirate?

    Many such cases of pessimism. I get why, but sometimes people seriously act as if we're no longer human and can't rebuild our love of life or our creative powers — of course we bloody can, and of course we eventually will. Life can't continue in a mindless state forever.
