10 minutes seems a long time. How long did it take you to build up to that?

I didn't really build up to it I just do it. I set a timer for 10 minutes and didn't get out until it went off. Call it a brute force method but if I went through the effort of filling up a tub with ice I'd rather use it for more than 2 minutes. Once you do it enough times you get somewhat used to the shock. It's important to breathe and just be calm. I wonder if there is a thread about this?

It's a day full of DIY. After so many years of bouncing around, never having a permanent home, living in a van, renting from slumlords, it has been hard to really internalize that this place is mine for as long as I need it. For the first time, I'm able to take pride in the place I live and put some effort into it. Some of these jobs are aggravating, but seeing the end result is great.
Considerable amount of pain on the right side of my body. Hard to breathe fully. Took me a good 20 minutes to get up out of bed this morning. Started yesterday, worse today. Think I hurt myself training, but it's hard to think how. Only thing I can think of is that we were doing spinning kicks using our right legs, and I'm left-sided. Sucks
I had a dream I was outside the supermarket and lava started bursting out from the ground. Dreams are supposed to be symbolic, but mine are usually either horrifying or just plain ludicrous. This one was neither, but I woke up before I could see what happened next. Lucid dreaming used to be fun. Flew around for a bit. Either that or just jumped high into the air and did cool flips. Sometimes in my dreams I'm running on all fours. No I'm not a furry. I can't remember how I learned to lucid dream before. Gonna try tonight.
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux,
is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component
of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell
utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day,
without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU
which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are
not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a
part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system
that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run.
    The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself;
it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is
normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system
is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux"
distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

I wonder what people here would have done if that solar storm really had caused massive disruption to power / comms etc?

There's definitely a higher plane. I am now fully convinced of this. How to proceed?

I look at it more like trying to view a mosaic through a pinhole camera. You're looking in the right direction but you're only getting a fraction of the truth. It's getting beyond that point that I'm pondering today.

Believe the Gospel. If we exalt ourselves as flawed and as weak as we are, we will rise to eternal damnation. If we surrender to him who died here for us; if we invite him in; we will rise to eternal bliss.

God truly is good; it is the folly of a man to look in his heart; ignoring the majesty of creation around him; and to say that there is no God.

Soddom and Gommorah were found, as was the Noah's Ark. You can see these things. The huge skeletons of the Nephilim have been found. Jesus Christ is a historical fact.
