  • I recently moved and took up a shitty cashier job to help pay through college, and I gotta say, I have no clue why people hate asshole customers so much when THEY have the power. Had some lard-ass pig bitch at me and act condescending -- no skin off my back -- guess who had to hold up their 500lb frame for an extra half hour while I "messed up" their $300 order multiple times? Literally the most gratifying part of my day.

I can only assume that bone structure adapts and becomes at least a bit more solid when you gain weight. I mean, I'm not quite sure about bones, but fat is actually quite useful for muscles. All those beauty bodybuilders actually gain fat and then "dry" themselves after they've built the muscles. But if you ain't aiming for beauty, it is pretty important to maintain a certain fat level for your muscles to be constantly in shape. Not to mention that in theoretical fight some weight won't hurt you as well.
Now, excessive weight is obviously bad for many reason, but it doesn't overwrite the fact that fat people can actually have quite a musculature under their fat. Plus the mentioned assumption that their bones probably become more dense as well.

@Ross_Я I'm not inclined to give 500lb. Karen in the Walmart checkout line that much credit for maintaining bone and muscle health.

Like, the whole point is, it's automatic. When you haul that much weight around, some parts of you gotta adjust to be able to do it.
So at least at some places, body will build something up which is simply necessary to move the fat around. If it wasn't happening, fat people would've turned into jelly.
Hey fellas, long time no see. I'm into Ska-punk now.
Here's you fellas a little philosophistical question I've intermittently pondered over the years: If someone with the full intention and belief that they are performing a bad action are actually performing a good action, have they done something good or bad?
Or, in a more boiled down essence, we say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I am asking, can we pave the road to heaven with bad intentions?

I do believe, answering to your philosophical question, a bad intention seen by the average man, can be actually a good intention in the individual their eyes. For example; wanting the elite, and actual evil people, such as child rapists, child abductions etc, get pain and even/or die, do the deed yourself, I do not see that as a bad intention. The individual sees this action as good, he full-heartedly believe his actions are good-willed, even if has to take someone's life.

This can go as far as law of manifestation. They say do not manifest bad stuff, evil stuff, but if this individual full heartedly believe what they are manifesting is a good intention, why is it evil? "You are your own reality", so why cannot one go against the norm of what is good and evil, if we can manipulate reality, why can't we change what is good and bad. Maybe this goes far away from your original question, but it makes me think.

I would suggest a reading of Nietzsche, specifically on the topic of his ideas of "Slave Morality vs Master Morality" and on "Beyond good and evil". Fundamentally, your question asserts some universal goodness or badness in the world, but you have to back up that assertion in some way(usually metaphysical). The problem with good intentions, is they try to achieve a perfect compromise between all parties, when some situations cannot have a compromise at all. Consider the situation of 2 people are dying of dehydration. You can give them a drink, but not enough to share between the 2 of them that they make it to a place for a drink. Most good intentioned people will give them both a drink, dooming both in the worst outcome.

The gap between actors' intentions and their actions' consequences is incompetence. It is an amoral force, like fire.
Apologies that I've been so absent on the forum as of late. I have a couple decent sized posts still in the works, but most internet shit has been postponed due to neonazis starting to try and make a presence in my area. Been dealing with that shit and getting more and more schizo that I'm being gangstalked by fascist pricks. At least I'm not entirely with the antisocial part of the paranoia and can get some backs up, but it's still an uncomfortable situation, what with having a jew name and family around.

Don't be schizo about being gangstalked, neo-nazis are not dangerous people. Any sizeable group is infiltrated so heavily by the FBI that they out-glow the moon, and any local group doesn't have enough power or resources to do anything other than spraypaint swastikas. Even if they did try to attack someone, it would be suicide, because nazis are the modern stand-in for heresy and demon worship and the police would have them arrested immediately. The only neo-nazis who actually attack anyone are loners who were already suicidal, and they usually go after walmarts and places like that anyway, not random suburban neighborhoods.

I find this to be very interesting - I wish the author had included links/screenshots of the conversations with the bot
I hate when people ask "where have you been?" Like, God told me they were approaching again so I had to travel through purgatorum by making deals with timelords in time-dialated adjacent spaces and hitchhiking with minor space commissars just to spend 8 months participating in the campaign on Alaghon Ba'amagh in an artillery pod to take one stronghold, have some fucking respect.
