• I added an agora current events board to contain discussions of political and current events to that category. This was due to a increase support for a separate board for political talk.

  • Alright Agora, consider this my "final post" on the forum. I've been inactive for a while and I think it's time for me to retire from this site. It's been fun while it lasted. I'm happy to be going to new places, taking new classes and meeting new people. If you want to keep in touch I'll be leaving my Telegram and Discord down below:

I didn't ever really talk to you, but I hope you find good luck with your future endeavors. I watched the first video you made and enjoyed it a lot, so I'll definitely try to keep up with that. It doesn't really apply to me IMO, but I know tons of people struggle with it and that it's an important topic. Have a good one.

Lmao, there's a lot of "uh's" in there cause I wanted to mostly talk off the top of my head. I had some notes prepared but I would rather have a more conversational voice rather than a "presenter" voice. My blog is more formal and I spend a lot of time editing and thinking about how to communicate what I want to say, whereas with YouTube I want to be able to play around with that format a little. Have some prepared essays but also some freeform conversational videos.

I would have been thankful if someone told me all this and actually cared, instead of fucking redditors doom posting about being shadowbanned and that don't even know what the analytics mean.

But whatever. You asked for my advise, I gave, as per karmic obligation. What you do with it is not of my concern.

    >finally meet someone on 4chan on a board I frequent I can talk to
    >have a lengthy discussion on media, literary criticism, fandom, porn and sexuality, etc.
    >send anon my article on the dangers of moe, they react positively to it despite their disagreements
    >continue our discussion, acknowledge our differences on certain philosophies and beliefs but agree to disagree
    >realize how much we derailed the thread, put in my personal discord and telegram, ask if they'd like to chat

I'm going to be expanding the Agoran Compound (aka my bedroom). I'm also welcoming in Agoran refugees and Agoran illegal immigrants as well for cheap labor. We can all watch Western civilization collapse together, watch anime, and play Tony Hawk's Underground 2.
Trump is back in office. Get ready for MORE H1B visas, MORE aid to Israel, MORE immigration, MORE American imperialism. Get ready for even MORE MIGAtards blaming Trump's inept decision-making on the deep state!

If I were to move to get out of this shithole that is the US, what country would you guys recommend?

Now if I move to a country without a proper 1st amendment equivalent, I will have to scrub a huge portion of my internet history first, and possibly go under a different name.

    >Can you tell me about Russia
Surely I can. In two words: it's a shithole.
In all seriousness though, it's about as bad as anywhere else. In my opinion, at least. That's why I am still here. I've been thinking about leaving as well, but, in the end of the day... anywhere else is not much better. Well, maybe Australia is nice, but about every animal and insect there is poisonous and they all try to kill you. On the contrary, Russia has next to none of poisonous critters, and those select few that are poisonous are not deadly. Plus we do not have tornadoes, earthquakes and whatever else the nature can throw at you... except from winter, of course.
That aside, I truly do enjoy the total ban of LGBT stuff. All kinds of degens are only really present in the web. In theory, you can meet them in real life in big cities too, but I never met one. So it's safe to say they are all but non-existent, and yes, I like that.
Prices are constantly growing, and wages, well, they don't, so I barely can get fuel for my car as of recent. Full tank costs 3000 rubles. I remember the days when it was half that much.
Really though, what exactly do you want to know?
    >where you live, what your community is like if you don't mind?
I live not far from a major city. Community is next to non-existent. As a kid I used to know other kids from the block, but as time passed, all but one of them moved. I then managed to find myself a new company, but at the end of this summer, all of them moved once again and only one friend is left here. My neighbours are, well... With most of them we barely interact. Sometimes I'm at odds with them because I'm a night owl and can be a bit loud every now and then. Sometimes I sign various, uh... demands and requests that go to the companies that provide electricity and whatnot to our homes. But mostly we just say hello and goodbye to each other.
Like, the closest neighbours - the people next door - seem rather nice. Warned me couple of times about this and that - like, when I forgot to turn off the lights in my car. I tried to invite them for a cup of coffee, but they declined... well, except for their dog, who gladly ran into my apartment.
Frankly, my community is mostly local stray and semi-stray dogs. They like me, and I like them, and, well, that's about it, I guess. I have no idea how to get into any kind of, like, people's community. It worked at least couple of times, as I wrote about, but every time it is pretty darn hard and overall seems luck-based or something.
Had a dream Dennis Prager was at my workplace and I immediately started seething with anger. I got in his face and started yelling at him and taunting him about how much of a traitor he is, how no one buys his BS anymore, that sorta thing. Kinda wish it happened IRL.
I know it's dumb to have nostalgia for something that's only a decade old, but can we bring back 2013-2017 Uzi/Yachty-type bubblegum trap please? Thanks.
Also some good news. Had an EKG done and my heart is fine. Still trying to figure out what's causing the polycythemia. My liver has some fat which is weird since I don't drink or smoke. Got a sleep test scheduled so hopefully that'll get some information as to what's causing my health to be so weird.
I'm only 11 pages into this new schizo-blog post I'm writing and I feel like I'm not even halfway done with it. Every time I think I'm done with a page I'll take a break and then my mind says: "Hey, you forgot to mention this. And this. Oh, and also this." :confusedMikasa:

It's the same when it comes to drawing in my case. "You forgot to color this!" "You forgot to give shadows and highlights to this!"

It's the same with everything for me. I have to, like, force myself to stop and say: this is it, you are fucking done.
I usually still come back later to fix a thing or two. Kind of inertially, like a braking line or something.

That's it, I'm calling it. 4chan is dead.
Question. How have your guys' politics changed in the last 8 or so years? A lot? Very little? I would say being baptized in 2020 had a profound impact on my politics as the water of baptism is still pouring down my head (metaphorically speaking). I used to be in a bunch of Discord groups with White identitarians and people who wouldn't shut up about race and IQ. I was friends with some tankies but obviously heavily disagreed with some of their ideas. I might write about that sometime if anyone's interested.

Before the pandemic, I used to be one of those Twitter "neurodivergent and a minor" queertards and had friends who were otherkin and used neopronouns. This was because I tried to be a kind and respectful fucking human being. However, I would eventually find out how much they would take advantage of that kindness by the time the riots came in. At that moment, I felt lost and alone with no one to vent to because at this point they'd target me for my own personal sociopolitical beliefs so I bottled my feelings up in a destructive episode of depression, which I have steadily recovered from thankfully. Atm I don't really align myself with any political label and tend to choose for myself what's right for this world because nobody wants to be experimental when it comes to stuff like that.

I don't know how to write this without sounding narcissistic + pretentious...
But yeah I spent a lot time being 'into' everything from far-right internet idiocy to far-left internet idiocy. Libertarianism and Nazism and Communism and Anarchism...
None of it was ever relevant to my actual life. It was always just ways to kill time online, and "my" politics were just reflections of whatever I was consuming. IRL I was and remain politically inert. So I don't know.
I eventually got tired of the carousel. To find my actual politics, like with so much else in my life, I had to go through a sort of regression to childhood and rebuild things from there.
I realized that I really don't care about anything overtly 'political', and yet I do just generally think all people should be equal and live in dignity and that we all as conscious creatures deserve happiness. That compassion and empathy should always come before judgement and scorn. Nobody considers themselves or wants to be a bad person. Bad people are just the ones who fail to recognize the humanity of others.

So yeah long story short, if you must map things onto the stupid left-right compass bullshit, I'd probably be on the far-left edge of the map. I don't really identify with those idiots who go around calling themselves 'communist' or whatever and pretend to have read Marx or Lenin or whatever – those guys are still suck in the rat maze. Although I am technically a 'socialist' because I generally think socializing/democratizing economic decisionmaking is vital to make the world a better place. (I also happen to think that the bad guys won the Cold War.)
But it's all a very vague, almost paradoxically non-partisan sort of position. I don't really see any plausible way to have the world fixed in my lifetime (if anything, this century is looking to be very grim). However I do believe that, on a long enough timeline, we will reach utopia, if for no other reason that the authoritarian and hierarchical mindset is inherently stupid and will be naturally selected out of human civilization over the millennia.
