Murasaki Sencha: Super green, deep steamed tea from Kagoshima. This fukamushi sencha has a bold full-bodied flavor, with plenty of sweetness and a hint of fruit.

Wednes Day: 109
Gyokuro Cha Musume: Strong umami flavor

Thursday Day: 110
Kukicha Osada: Nice hay flavor and a mineral notes in after taste

Took the month of June off of work for an upcoming vacation.
depressed because no gym for a month. gonna see a hand ortho about my fractured Triquetral this Wednesday

Convincing my mother that mixing cultures isn't the end of the world and that my bloodline still has my other siblings. I guess I'm a bit of a disappointment for mixing with goopie but I don't really care. Our cultures are more similar than she thinks.

Also fun talks about orthodox not being so different from baptism. Just good conversations all around for mothers day!

As the resident tea master, maybe you can help me understand something: why is East Asian (and specifically Chinese) tea so light? Been watching The Brothers Sun lately and all the tea they pour in that show looks like water. As a die hard coffee lover I genuinely don't understand the appeal. The few times I've tried it I just wound up feeling like it was too weak to enjoy.

Am I missing something?
