    he is essentially extending the ideas of marshall mcluhan. while adding musings about hyper-reality and like, post-realism in media and our culture. there's obviously alot more too it than that. but people who literally think baudrillard was positing there is a computer simulation we are living in because they watched the matrix, definitely need to actually read the book. because thats not even remotely what its about.

    Musk and the Redditors that follow him are Neo-Gnostics without even realizing it. There's actually an excellent book about the connection between technological worship and Gnosticism called TechGnosis. I would recommend it to anybody interested in the subject as it cuts really deep.
