Left my PC on overnight to render an animation, woke up to find that in seven hours blender rendered only 20 or so frames out of 150.
Spend like an hour researching cheaper ways to do volumetric lighting, etc. etc.
Realize that when I started this project I forgot to switch to GPU rendering and it was on CPU the entire time.
As much as I love winamp, I think I'm going to have to move back to MusicBee. I've been having all kinds of weird issues and crashes and I can't justify using it much longer. Not that it's any real fault of the program itself. I imagine a music player from 1997 might have some difficulty managing over 200 gigabytes of music flawlessly.
