I think it terms of design we're gonna see more places tend towards trying to be overwhelming and jarring, gothic fonts, think different sized and colored images, with flashing fonts, kind of like how pump.fun looks right now (idk the name of the design style). I also predict mass job layoffs from AI, especially among BS jobs, and it being blamed on immigrants and Trump, depending on who you ask.

I also predict this year will be a good year. Last year wasn't the best, I started it with a really bad injury, but I've bounced back, and I'm set for this upcoming year to be my best yet. I feel like a lot of the mehness of the last few years is finally gonna go away!

The amount of predictions I could make about 2025 would be infinite, but I think I'll boil it down to these points that are completely based on my life, world view, experiences and interests, and my own perception.

random society and life stuff:
-I think 2025 will have MAJOR revolutions happen and a lot of destabilization of the current order (think of what January 6th was for the US but like 100x more powerful)
-Trump won the election so obviously some major stuff will go down there after jan 20. New laws, etc.
-Elon plans to implement D.O.G.E but It won't be that amazing or beneficial to us.

Aesthetics/art movements:
-Urban grunge will make a comeback
-medieval and middle ages will have a zeitgeist year.
-Corporate flat art will finally die.

Music:
-Pop punk will finally make a huge comeback

Vyda gamez (my specialty!):
-PS2 will be be dethroned and the Switch will now become the best selling system ever.
-GTA 6, I have SEVERAL predictions
(1) GTA 6 crashes and burns and becomes a disaster like concorde and is the official end of western gaming.
(2) GTA 6 will be "woke" but still sell really well but not as well as 5.
(3) GTA 6 turns out perfectly fine and changes gaming forever and ushers in a new era for R* and we get an avalanche of games from them. (New entries in Bully,midnight club,thrasher skate and destroy etc)
(4) random prediction, I think GTA 6 will actually launch on the Switch 2 alongside xbox and PS. PC version will come in 2026.
-Pokemon legends ZA and the new battlefield game will both turn out.... shockingly very well actually and will be very liked entries.
-Switch 2 will come out and I predict that for the first year the major games will be, New 3D mario, new mario kart that's open world, new animal crossing that's medieval themed, smash ultimate port, and for third parties Elden ring with all DLC AND the new multiplayer game, RDR2, Street fighter 6, Armored core 6, and satisfactory.
-Also for Switch 2 I predict that there will be a lot of cross generational games and this will continue until 2027.
-AAA gaming will either crash and burn next year or have a massive rebirth
-New tony hawk game will come out. Not a remake, a new entry.
-We will see "Christian" games released and get semi popular.

Internet:
-The internet will totally die next year due to laws and regulations. Tik-tok is a teaser for this.

I'm bad at predicting things. I have my own crazy ideas/fantasies about what could happen but I'll keep my predictions vague and state that I think 2025 will be a good year, overall. Maybe parts of it will be chaotic, confusing, frustrating, or even violent, but overall it will be a good year. I think things are going to get better in ways we don't realize are possible yet.

On a personal level, I'd like to own a real home with some land and begin a garden. Somewhere quiet but not too far from town cause I hate driving. Who knows, maybe 2025 will be the year that the (U.S.) real estate market returns to normal and home ownership becomes reasonable again.

I recon in 2025 AI spam bots will render large area's of the internet unusable. From music websites like bandcamp being filled with slop to the boards of 4chan becoming niegh unusable.
Also YouTube will continue to deteriorate, it will slam ad blockers really hard, forcing them to take serveral weeks to adapt to youtubes new changes. These changes will also also render YT-DLP unusable for the most part.
If the AI arms race continues, then I'd expect to more investment in nuclear energy from the west.

Twitter will continue to degrade, becoming more and more of a vehicle for political control. Same goes for the rest of the internet but to a lesser extent.
Australia might try and implement some form of digital ID. (I have no plans to participate.)
This digital ID would require verification with your birth certificate and large websites would be forced to implement a verification process.

No large scale renewables investment will actually occur in the USA. Nor will any new major green energy projects be funded by the government. With china leaving the USA in the DUST with their new technologies.
However there will be large scale investment in nuclear from US corporations in china. Primarily by the Westinghouse Electric Company,

The USA is quite likely to pull some kind of false flag attack involving china or north korea, increasing world tensions.
Assuming country near by china don't suck up to the USA then the usa will probably try and destablize those countries.

Also the general decline of democracy will continue.

the global net is dead its why we must build new local nets of frens instead

i don't believe yt-dlp will ever be unusable tho the worst that can happen is it requiring a log in cookie and maybe downloads taking longer cause it might have to spoof ad watching in the future
(also about the latest anti ad block thing all you have to do is disable the "quick fix" filter in ublock, but this information is like two days old so maybe its outdated, works well on my machine tho)

-I predict that the songs, "Hey ya!", and "American idiot" will be on one of the radio stations (Probably similar to non-stop pop)
-I also predict that there might be some vaporwave songs (more accurately a synthwave station), if not a whole radio station similar to electro-choc and a medieval radio station similar to double cleff.
-speaking of medieval, I predict that there will be a mission where you have to crash or interrupt a renaissance fair.
