Note to self: animate sparkly ice snowflake thingy particle effect b/c a static image for the ice effect makes sense but feels out of place considering the others are animated and also it's too easy

another note to self: like a freezing mist texture particle thing like what you did for the SoS concept would work since that's what rime is

Tried my hand at making a sci-fi corridor.

Gonna need to redo a lot (the door, mostly) but I think I'm off to an okay start. Hopefully gonna use this as a visual novel background.

I've spent some time learning blender and right now I'm taking an enviroment creation course in udemy. Shit's very fun but quite complex!

I've made some grass by modelling leaves and flowers and instancing them over a plane with geometry nodes. Also, following the course I was taught how to combine weighted paint, shaders, and geometry nodes to make the path you see in pic related dynamically by drawing a bezier curve over the plane. I don't think I would be able to do this on my own, but its a great learning experince.

After finishing this I think I will pass onto hard surface modelling and then into rigging.

Here's the course if anyone is interested: https://www.udemy.com/course/blender-environments/

After all this time I still haven't cracked open geo nodes (haven't had the need, tbh), but I'll never deny how powerful they've seemed in every demonstration of them. Good stuff
