1st one is definitely fake and gay but only because of the unnecessary exageration. Would've been more believeable if it he didn't claim to kill 2 and chop one dude's hand off.

It's too exaggerated to be awesome. it's eye-roll inducing "yea sure that happened".
The 2nd one is how to do it best: It's outlandish and makes a fine story but could as well be fake and also has some holes but the potential BS is overshadowed by it being a fun story.

The first one is basically just anon saying "I'm so cool and badass! I was asked to become a superhero too but I declined because I'm so cool. Nothin personell kid"
It gives off the same vibes as that one kid back at school that HAD to lie about achievements and stories in order to appear interesting but everyone knew it was bullshit.
