Seeing @SomaSpice 's challenge inspired me to do my own. Recently, I have felt my interests exiting my fingertips due to laziness, becoming a wage-cuck, and the closing of the shutdown. I would like to challenge myself to work on something in the Math or Science department for at least an hour each day, for the next year. Public commitment seems like a nice way to keep on track. Although I don't know if I can fork up $200. I could probably giveaway a $75 Steam gift card. I'm going to be starting from square one with Math (Starting from Pre-Calc), and would like to learn some Biology. Start May 22, 2022 -> end May 22, 2023. I'll be doing weekly updates every Sunday, it will recap the entire week. No need to overload the thread.

Day 1:

Today was simple and I was just getting antiquated with the Pre-Calc.
"The range of what is learned today" = { Functions, Domain, Range }
I'm really enjoying it so far, but it was a bit difficult to bring myself to start. It did feel amazing afterwards!

I do want to get a book on Biology as well. I was wondering if anyone has read Campbell. If you have, let me know what you think of it.

https://matlab.mathworks.com is pretty good, got student's license so if you want you can send me pastebins with scripts to run, although many paid sites have workarounds (search on youtube, if the video isn't new, sort comments by newest first as users may say it no longer works)

Days 1 - 7 -- May 22 - 29

I have picked up a couple books this week at my local library.
  1. Great Books Of The Western World Volume 11 (Euclid's' Elements, Archimedes, Apollonius of Perga, Nicomachus of Gerasa)
  2. Einstein's Theory Of Relativity (Max Born)
The Great Books one is great, I've been reading some of Euclid's proofs, and am amazed by some of them. They are beautiful, I picked up the book with the intention of reading Euclid, and do not intend on reading the other works.
I only just started reading the Max Born book yesterday but so far I'm enjoying it (I've only read a couple chapters).

Pre-Calc is going well (I'm reading this), and am about to finish the 1st chapter.

Some goals I have for this week:

- Read up to 4th chapter of the Pre-Calc book.
- Read to at least chapter 4 of Einstein's Theory Of Relativity
- Make some decent progress with Euclid, this is parallel in priority to the previous goal, with the 1st goal being the top priority.
I'm going to try and kick it up a notch this week in terms of output. I'm beginning to find a rhythm.
