I am working on a homoromantic drawing series. Suggestive images ahead, but not NSFW. Just in case you would not like to see them in public. At least the first one. The second one is okay.
I used a vintage photograph of a lesbian couple for the second one as a reference. And yes, they are female versions of some Bioshock characters. I should draw more women because I really struggled with that. Apparently, I enjoy drawing butch women too, so I'll try some WLW art the next time.
Back with stupid doodles and shit because I can only focus on lectures if I'm keeping my hands occupied at the same time. Bioshock, of course, because I'm fucking obsessed with that game.
Trying more dynamic poses and a more cartoonish style. I draw the face using circles for the cheeks and jaw and nose. Darker circles give a more depressed expression, while softer ones look cute. Using simple lines for shading also helps for clothes.
And here is the Bioshock poster I replicated on baking paper (markers + colored pencils). Compared with original:
Well, if he truly is my pal, I hope he helps me in the midterm tomorrow. [Also it's odd that I draw more when I'm nearing my midterms. Fucking attention levels or some shit.]
You know the drill. 4th time I post on this thread the night before a midterm. It's 3 AM, I'll post those and fuck off to sleep and try to wing the fucking exam tomorrow
Tired lad expression studies:
Aphrodite rising from the sea and Aphrodite of war meeting. I don't know if I'll finish it, though.
Aphroditus / Hermaphroditus in modern clothes. Hair and shirt colorpicked from the Cyprus flag. Background and the crown colorpicked from the intersex flag. The Aphroditus cult had a following in Cyprus back then. Fascinates me. Two versions.
Aaand Robespierre. This one's a bit old though.
There we fucking go. Farewell till the next exam or deadline, I guess
!/72 Zenith model that I painted, now with glossy topcoat so the paint will stop chipping every time I touch it.
If you look at the back photo around the feet, that yellow color is the base plastic color of the entire model, I opted not to paint it cause it's too close to a joint piece and would probably be scraped off while posing the thing.
