Tried out some watercolors today after getting inspired by the new Rain World DLC.

Also, a fellow shop volunteer of mine gave me some ink pens and a sketchbook for Christmas, so I figured I'd post some highlights from that. Husband bought me an ink pen with a bunch of colors while we were on vacation in London last month (along with said watercolors and a paintbrush with a water well inside,) so I've been fooling with that as well. Having multiple colors of ink is a game changer! I haven't mastered using that brush though; it acts a lot like a marker, and it's got a bit of a learning curve.

Each one made to represent an element, I think they turned out good for the most part. Dark is probably going to need his colors brightened slightly, but I kinda like how it looks even if it's a bit hard to see.

Quick post, just really hyped about how these look. So I got some pearlescent watercolors in the mail today, with the idea of using them as a topcoat for my regular colors. Just look at the effect this makes! I tested 'em out making a poster for a local swap-n'-meet. Unfortunately it's a bit hard to catch it on camera well. I'm definitely gonna be toying around with these more in the future; I loved them so much I went and bought the 60-color set. Don't even care that I probably got dupes, as these are still gonna be useful and last me a long while.

While ㅤㅤㅤ was concieved at first as a little gremlin who shitposts IRL, I later moved those attributes to Orb and recharacterized ㅤㅤㅤ as something of an "anti-Gondola." While Gondola represents the principle of observing without interacting, ㅤㅤㅤ represents interacting without meddling. He will comment, he will put his hands on things, and he will make a bit of a mess, but he's always sure to leave things exactly as they were found.
Don't be fooled by the "anti-Gondola" rhetoric, the two of them actually get along just fine.
