I agree that contacts are good, I'm just pointing out that sometimes your C.V. won't reach human eyes up until the last 'round' of interviews.

Okay sorry for reacting so harsh. Yes that is true and there really is nothing you can do.
Im just a bit annoyed ad some people I know that 24/7 complain that they cant find a job when they arent trying.
Thats like saying:"I didnt get an A altough I looked over everything onces and understood it in its basics"

Ah it's ok, I understand. If you google anything semi-related to C.V. or jobs or whatever, the thing throws you 30 links to /r/antiwork and similar places; Sometimes it feels like 'everyone' on the internet is holding the same position and it's frustrating.

Your advice on calling HR is good too, my stance does come-off as bitter, I could have worded it better. Doing an extra mile is sometimes the difference

Yeah I dont want to derail the threat to much(altough its pretty much dead anyways) but I just saw this video and it sums up pretty good why doing talks like that can help a lot not only if you want to get hired but also if its the right company for you.
