Apparently cursed painting

I was just locking my house up for the night and got a little ocd. One thing led to another and now ... - "/x/ - Paranormal" is 4chan's imageboard for the discussion of paranormal, spooky pictures and conspiracy theories.

I was shitposting on this thread before some guy posted a picture of a canvas with the painting facing away. He said it was painted by a guy who went on to apparently killed his girlfriend and himself. This guy also said that he had bought the artist's soul along with the painting for $15. I asked to see the painting and he posted the other side of the canvas:

I decided to brighten the image in gimp:

You can see two distorted, feline figures at the top of the painting seemingly holding a pile of coloured creatures.
He also posted an apparent soul contract he signed. He said that the painting had given him nightmares and that it still gives him the creeps.
What do you guys think? Is this just a fat larp or an actual cursed object with a soul inhabiting it?

It actually takes a lot less than you'd think to produce a cursed object even by accident, so its pretty possible. However, the fact that it's being posted on /x/ reduces it's credibility.
It may be worth noting that the "soul contract" is written on the back of another shitty painting.

There are no truly cursed objects. I have a small collection of said objects given to me by people who made the same claims. Sure enough, bringing them in induced nightmares and strange knockings and other weird occurances around the house. After a few weeks of being ignored they usually leave.

Fat larp 100%. There's no such thing as a curse, maybe a fragment of soul could be attached to it but I seriously doubt it could cause a "curse"...

When an object is "cursed" and rattling around a table there's something moving it. Real alien life comes from other dimensions where the fabric of space as we know it might not exist. It's all very strange. They aren't afraid to lean on our superstitions and play the part of a spirit or demon if it helps them accomplish their goals.

I'll make a more detailed post on this in the coming days in the paranormal section here.
