busy month here, musicwise. Been working on an album together with Ursula's Cardridges for Dream Museum Records. Its going to be a wild ride with what we have so far.
Another thing I've been experimenting with is live performance. While I have 10+ years of experience in playing the keys in various bands, making a vaporwave liveset in ableton is something different altogether. I hope to soon be able to share the results!
The only thing I released this month is the maximalist-Y2k aesthetic opener on this fantastic compilation.

Been working on stuff for a few months but this is the first project I've "released", interested to hear what people think!

As a lover of mallsoft I have to say that this release is pretty convincing! I like the aesthetic and ambiance of the tracks, a textbook mallsoft experience. I really appreciated how wide the sound of some tracks is (I'm thinking about "Renewal" and "The Digital Dream"), and how complete the sound feels, if I had to compare it to that of other debuting mallsoft artists.
Overall, nice work. Keep it up!

I like the concept and the idea, this release has a really weird (in a good way) aesthetic and a unique character to it. This kind of crossover between rock and shoegaze sounds and vaporwave and signalwave aesthetics is very interesting to me. I really enjoyed the part that abruptly starts around 7:07, how it breaks the track and then smoothly reconnects to it; and the glitchy scratchy part around 9:12 which transitions the track into a really potent "cathartic" section. My favourite bit is, however, the one that starts around 4:00, it gives me some signalwavy vibes that I really love. Texture-wise, I like the loudness, the hard, gritty, truly low-fidelity sounds, I've experimented with them myself. But I have to say that sometimes the clipping is maybe too hard and it ruins a bit the experience. I had to turn down the volume a bunch of times and that prevented me from paying attention to the full soundscape. The lower frequencies are mostly affected by this problem, as I often heard the vocals clip or the guitars taking too much space. I think sometimes texture could be sacrificed in favour of a quieter but fuller sound, especially in such long releases which may strain an average listener.
But besides that, I still think the project has value and, from what I've listened on your Soundcloud, I find the music you propose original and well made. Good luck!
