I find a cool aesthetic is zoomed-in architecture. To me it represents patterns and infinity. Anyone else find this cool?

You might like the work of Giovanni Battista Piranesi, an Italian classical architect and artist who made tons of etchings of disturbingly large fictional architecture that definitely gives an Escher-like feeling of infinity.

Reminds me of the artist Tsutomu Nihei who used to be an architect but his designs were too wild to make IRL, so he made an entire manga of crazy nightmare architecture

Yakov Chernikov produced these architectural fantasies - almost a 40k vibe, the gothic architecture at hyperindustrial scales. Maybe this is what London or Berlin would look like if Marx's predicted 19th century revolutions really did sweep across Europe.

It'd be really cool if we built things to the scale we can now using old architectural styles.

I think these are some of the coolest, aesthetically pleasing places in my city. More interior design than architecture for some of these but still really cool imo.

Oh cool! Another Angelino Agora Road User! I moved here last month and I haven't had the time to explore around the city quite clearly. Been stuck studying for midterms lately as well.

Very much so, here is something I found a little while ago.

Given the setting, I think representing infinity is particularly apt.
Not sure what kind of infinity they are refering to by coloring the location red and blue.
Looks quite "Cyberpunk"

Although I have no clue what to call this one, there's a suburb in Paris who really evoke like comfy futuristic vibe. I wouldn't really say they even have some strict style they follow, but they look cool. It has even been used as a set for few movies, Brazil being the most famous one I think.

I've always been a sucker for Art Deco. It feels like the perfect synthesis of modern construction methods and classical aesthetics.
