The greatest living American writer is no longer living. What are your experiences with his work? Are there any passages from them that moved or influenced you in any particular way?

I've read Blood Meridian a couple of times. It wasn't really easy reading, but I thought it was pretty cool. I bought The Road awhile back, though I've never actually found the time to read it. Maybe I should?

While I enjoyed Blood Meridian, I feel weird about it since I'm not nearly as taken in by it (or his writing in general) as others seem to be. No Country for Old Men is a great movie though, so I do got to give him credit for writing the book it's based on
