Mili is probably my favorite band ever (I've been following their work since 2014 or so, having been exposed to their work through the rhythm game Deemo). When I need to get something done, I like to throw on Key Ingredient and Let's Lament (albums that give their songs a stripped down arrangement, only piano and vocals remaining). The LL rendition of In Hell We Live, Lament is especially captivating to me. I wish I had a vinyl record player, since for reasons beyond me the instrumental track is only on the vinyl, not digital, and there's no CD release.

Mili is probably my favorite band ever

Ooh, I love a lot of Mili's music too. I'm not that big on Key Ingredient though, as I prefer the heavier, electronic instrumentation in their songs. It's still very good though, and it's nice to hear more of Cassie Wei's beautiful and unique vocals. My favorite song from them is probably sustain++;. I love its serious, introspective tone along with its overall cyberpunk vibe. While I haven't seen the anime that uses it as its ending song, I imagine it must fit very well. It makes me imagine a story's approaching climax, and then reflecting on all the past choices and mistakes that have led to this final breakdown.

My favorite song from them is probably sustain++;. I love its serious, introspective tone along with its overall cyberpunk vibe.

sustain++; is a great pick, I always liked it more than world.execute(me); (though that one's also nothing to sneeze at). I find it hard to choose a single favorite when it comes to Mili - so many of their songs I love for entirely different reasons. I'm a big fan of sl0t though. It's got this industrial sound that very few of their other tracks share.
