This is a thread to share websites that have persisted from the old web to the now-web OR to share resources, including those websites, on schizo theories from the late 90s/early 00s.

I also like the idea of "repersonifying" the internet so if anyone wants to reach out to maintainers etc... that could be interesting too.

I'll start.

Recently I reached out to the current rep of the Heavens Gate suicide cult most of whom killed themselves in March 1997. I had thought about making a piece about/including my conversation with them for the next issue of the ezine but my interaction with the rep, Telah, was rather bland. Partly my fault I am certain but eventually Telah simply turned to marketing the groups ideas via a book I could purchase for $30. I still may purchase the book.

At first the interaction did seem open though.

The interesting part about the Heavens Gate cult is that the website still exists more or less the same as when it was created in 1996.

This, of course, makes heavensgate.com one of the few websites that has existed from the old internet right on through to the current internet. There have been some small changes I am sure(they now use SSL for example, which wasn't an option in 1996) but most everything on the website looks just as most other old websites looked at the time. Combining the real retro aesthetic with the real retro conspiracy stuff makes for an interesting experience. By now I have probably watched 5 hours of Do's(the groups leader) videos on youtube and vimeo. The message isn't really complicated but it does hit a lot of the same points as much of the current worlds schizo theories do.

There are a lot of cool visual features IMO. below are some of my favorite.

In any regard, the website is definitely worth checking out and there is a lot of material to go through.

There was a guy called arielchaser that used to host an alien chatroom on Yahoo back around 2003. That was a lot of my first exposure to the conspiracy world. I don't know that he ever had a website, but he created a Youtube channel a few years after the Yahoo chatrooms died out (it hasn't been updated in 14 years though).

He wrote a book called Pray or Prey and a number of his videos were readings from the book. It's an interesting time capsule: https://www.youtube.com/user/arielchaser

I look him up every couple of years to see what he's up to. He has a small time country music career now. No sign of him being involved in conspiracies anymore, so he might be in a better mental place now, probably for the best.

Timecube is the classic one that comes to mind.
Not sure if this is the original website (1997) but it has the old content. https://timecube.2enp.com/

there is one that is not really a conspiracy i think wich is the ELECTRICAL UNIVERSE, theory that postulates the entire universe is ruled by other laws than the ones we think of, its postulated by scientists if i do not recall it badly , but i do have to chek it out

The one that caugth my atention in recent years is the one postulated by ALEXANDER ELEAZAR, where he describes another history of mankind, kind of like FOMENKO but much far out
now beforehand i want to say that im not a racist and i do not considere his story to be so, although trough the lens of racism his story is not very flatering of other races other than the white and european, the major concern is not the black or indian race but the asian race or PAIOS, i have some books, didnt read them all but they are all in spanish

get yourself an immortality device or some gorgeouspil. one of my go-to tester websites for old machines i'm taking online. also enjoyable is his wacky idea for world peace
Alex Chiu is cool, but now all he does is talk about his prophetic Trump dreams and incest porn. At least he's moved on from posting his version of the Imperial March every day.

Publius Enigma
The fact that Publius Enigma still persists as a conspiracy theory to this day is hilarious to me. It was literally a marketing stunt by Pink Floyd that ended up being cut short for like budgetary reasons or some other equally boring reason. But because it was using the early 90's internet as part of a cryptic marketing campaign, and so little verifiable information has persisted from that era, there is still a small handful of people that think it's some kind of big thing.

I'm mostly open minded to conspiracy theories, but that one is a dud.

I recall Freemasons and The Trilateral Commission being far larger focal points of 20+ year old conspiracy theories than they are today, generally. Seemed like for a while they were the catchall boogieman for the "who's really in charge" conspiracies. Today your more likely to hear thinly veiled -ism and terms like globalists at the center of conspiracies.

conspiracy (noun):

a secret plan by a group of people to do something harmful or illegal
  • conspiracy (to do something) a conspiracy to overthrow the government
  • They were charged with conspiracy to murder.
  • conspiracy against somebody/something conspiracies against the president
  • a conspiracy of silence (= an agreement not to talk publicly about something that should be made public)

Shit like "conspiracy theory" is just another retarded buzzword to silent people for voicing out truths that hurt.
