Fuck yeah! Just saw it, too!

Biggest for me:
  • Added NPC Jar-Bairn.
  • Added new quest phases for the following NPCs: Diallos/ Nepheli Loux/ Kenneth Haight/ Gatekeeper Gostoc.
  • Fixed a bug which causes some weapons to have incorrect scaling after strengthening.
  • Fixed a bug which causes some weapons to not use stat scaling.
  • Increased the drop rate of Smithing Stone for some enemies.
  • Increased the damage for all offensive cracked pot items.

And I literally just killed Gostoc because he was just stomping on Godrick for like three years straight...

yeah I killed him on my first char. too.
But I already started 2 new ones (one DEX but he was lame so I kinda quit after Radahn) and now a pure STR guy who just did a suicide run into Caelid to get Guts' dragonslayer. Since he barely did anything yet but get some smithing stones, he will be enjoying the new patch.

I personally found it a lot easier to use a crossbow with Scarlet Rot and Bleed bolts, then you just summon the masses to rush him long enough for you to proc. Grats on the win!

I killed this guy at the start because he was kind of a dick. This is my first Souls game and it actually felt great to kill someone that was a bit of a challenge. It was until much later in the game that I realize I couldn't fight Mohg because he's dead damn it

There's still a way to get to Mohg's later in the game. I don't think there's any areas in the game you can get completely locked out of (then again, I did my best to avoid killing any npcs just in case)

Anyway, Varre's a cunt and I can't blame you for merking him.
