Favorite "hidden gem" releases

Meaning: those releases and artists that are barely discussed, the ones who remain unknown or forgotten. Because not everything is composed of Vektroid alts.

Mine is Ladatel - Recuerdo Futuro, which has a whooping 9 years already since its release. I still come back to it often. It's pretty amusing to hear mexican themed vaporwave like this.

I'm guessing most of y'all already know this website, since compared to many here, I'm kind of a noob regarding vaporwave music. The album that first introduced me to vaporwave. There are a few tracks on this album that don't fit well (tracks 6 and 7 would be cut if it were up to me), but the rest makes this one of the better recent examples of Classic Vaporwave.

It's a shame that the tapes sold by the デジタルSounds label were never delivered, as I was one of the first buyers of the pressing at launch. In retrospect though it taught me right from the beginning that most Vaporwave labels will take your money and run. Since then I've done enough research into all my physical purchases that I haven't had this issue again.
