One conspiracy that always stuck with me was The Smiley Face killers. The idea posits that a group of serial killers are targeting and murdering college students, usually athletic males. Each crime scene would entail the same thing: Death by drowning but always in the presence of an eerie smiley face (A kind of serial killer calling card if you will).

Its a theory I've always been fascinated by even if it reads like bad Dexter fanfic.

I was super into all the alien/UFO stuff on the Discovery Channel as a kid (late 90s/early 00s). I can't explain it, but despite how much I enjoyed these shows, I'd gradually start to fill with dread while watching them, especially if I was alone in the house, and I'd imagine that aliens were lurking outside my house and peering through the window, sometimes to the point of tears. It's not something I would worry about usually, just when watching those shows.

I watched a classic one as an adult a few years ago (something other than Ancient Aliens), and I got the same feeling--even though I was enjoying watching it, I was too petrified to get up off my couch, and I think I just slept in my living room.

Neither horror movies nor murderino shit (which I love) nor cryptid shows have ever done this to me--just alien shows.

Maybe they knew you were watching them and therefore were watching you. Maybe you could sense them watching you. Have you heard of the TV show The Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch? I've been watching it recently and the phenomena they've captured is absolutely groundbreaking. They've brought a lot of credibility to the subject of UFO's and extraterrestrials.

I have an SDR shortwave radio I use, and sometimes I like to tune into the numbers stations. The bbiggest mystery for me is why they are still being used by these countries...

I've recently gotten into the ancient advanced civilization niche, not necessarily aliens building pyramids and all that, but rather the history of civilization is far longer than what modern archeology and anthropology is presenting. That there's something of a conspiracy for the Egyptologists to prevent "outside" scientists from investigating the pyramids themselves, with the Scan Pyramid Project revealing possible hidden chambers and the Egyptian gov making it virtually impossible for the project to continue the research etc.

Certainly agriculture must have begun earlier than we thought, though it's more relevant to ask when did various human groups become sedentary and therefore started building monuments that requires mass coordinated labour.

That and I'm really into stuffs about real-life cults, and possible government involvement in them.

my fav schizo theory is one that's sort of a reverse one. Instead of conventional schizo theories that claim that the world is being run by hyper-elite and powerful people, i propose that we're all being run by genuinely stupid people who have no idea what they're. doing. Billionaires are by far the most influential people in the modern world yet all of them are kinda just... selfish, lazy and unimaginative? Like even just 1 billion is enough to basically make anything or make almost any change in the world, yet all the people with around 50x that just spend their days in a generic mansion doing generic rich things while their free time is spent looking at charts on how much more useless money they can make.

I don't think these people are necessarily evil in an intentional way, just more so low level thinkers who are as unsophisticated as babies screaming for milk. I think humanity is doomed because the people with power are not very good people and even more so that they unironically have no imagination. Elon musk is the richest person rn and all he does with his money is create another car company slop that appeals to gamers, humanity is joever.

For better or worse I follow the UFO thing. I am absolutely convinced that something fishy is going on, but I don't think it's necessarily aliens. The main problem with it all is that the scene is so full of grifters, disinformation agents, people with fried brains and plain morons that it's impossible to glean any decent information from anywhere.
