I've also yet to play Shenmue
It's very idiosyncratic, but if you are in the right mindset for it, it is an experience. It's the first game that comes to mind when I think of the feeling vaporwave evokes. The sequel was good too. The third one... Eh, if you don't have love for the franchise already, just stick to the first one.
No more room in hell
I played that for a bit maybe a year or two after it came out, it looks way more polished now (same thing happened to me with Warframe, I had stopped for two years and when I returned there were a dozen new frames and everything had been overhauled). I might go over it again to see how far it's come.

It still holds up well imo. I usually play solo casual with no zombie respawn which still keeps it difficult but not impossible to do solo. Maybe it's weird but it's very calming to me. The radios also plays chocolate rain as a little easter egg, peak sovl.

The Killzone series. Had its own unique story and engaging gameplay but after 10 years there's nothing. And it's a shame, as the games were not bad or mediocre. Now the francize only gathers dust.View attachment 112698

Yeah they were great games. I'd be super happy if another came out. I remember really liking multiplayer and the overall aesthetic.
