Enjoy your stay in hell, michigan.
In what I can only assume as one of the greatest ironic jokes of all time (or prot propaganda, I'm not sure) pretty much the only road leading into Hell MI is called Darwin Road. Makes me chuckle every time I see it

What cancelled sitcom best describes your life?
I don't watch sitcoms or TV in general anymore, but I am currently re-watching The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (I do not think it was officially cancelled).

What does Vaporwave mean to you?
I like to relate vaporwave to art and music. I've always been interested in the 80s and 90s, and anything related to vaporwave helps me immerse myself with the time period, even though I never lived through it. I grew up very young on the internet, starting at 3 years old, meaning that could be attributed to my unusual interest in past internet culture.

What subgenres are you most into?
I like electronic music, dubstep, and pop for the most part. It's very difficult to pick out subgenres, but above all I like Glitch hop.

How did you find out about this place?
Liminal space ultimately led me to finding Disillusion, which in turn, caused me to discover the infamous Rick Tempest (Also known as Rig).

What do you do for fun?
I like to play video games and watch anime. Sometimes I go chill in Cafés with friends.

I'm glad to finally be part of this community

How did you find out about this place?

Been lurking for a year before signing up, dead internet facts originally introduced this spot to me.

What do you do for fun?

I like to write (worldbuilding/critiques/poetry/papers), contribute to opensource projects, work on my website, take cool photos, cosplay, 3d print random shit, and collect antique books/ cool lights.

Hello there,
Nice to meet you all.
I was gonna choose the name Red but it was taken so I went with Brapuccino instead. That one wasn't taken for some reason.

What cancelled sitcom best describes your life?
I don't know a lot of cancelled sitcoms, much less one I could say I feel "identified" with. Big Twin Peaks fan, I suppose you could say I share a bit of Cooper's sense of wonder and curiosity and sometimes I think things just sort of happen around me.

What does Vaporwave mean to you?
I've always seen it mostly as a music genre but I suppose it's also an aesthetic as well.

What subgenres are you most into?
In terms of vaporwave, wouldn't call it a subgenre, but you could say I sometimes like to listen to the "sources" of vapor tracks' samples. I spent a short time listening to a lot of citypop and I think Taeko Ōnuki was my favorite artist.

How did you find out about this place?
Mentioned positively on a different forum and was curious.

What do you do for fun?
I like watching movies, streaming stuff for friends, occasional photography, high effort shitposting (rare), cooking stuff sometimes and listening to music.
I used to go on trips somewhat regularly, at least until rona fuckd anythang up.

I make my own music as well, but unsure if I'd call it "fun". It can be a very rewarding and satisfying process, and I do love it for that, but it's also a lot of work and headaches and finishing tracks thinking "wow this is great" only to listen back to it the next day and thinking "what the fuck was I thinking?".

Looking forward to making some friends and having a good time.

There's not much to say, other than I'm here. I run some sites, I do some tech, I knew about cyberpunk before the Billy Idol album when it was released...

What cancelled sitcom best describes your life?

Sitcom... Sitcom... Fuck if I know, I can't recall the last actual sitcom I actually watched. Small Wonder?

What does Vaporwave mean to you?

It's like sex on drugs while drunk, in a dirty motel room with neon blasting through the window and a little blood on the carpet... O_o

What subgenres are you most into?

I mean, I like them all, but ya know maybe Lo-Fi and Utopian...

How did you find out about this place?

I find things, I dunno. It's been on my radar for years honestly, lurked plenty. Just figured I would make an account, see what it's like...

What do you do for fun?

Watch movies, listen to music, make music, hack on some code, dink around with circuits, read books, play games, eat interesting food, drink interesting drinks, ya know what most people do...

Goes to show how right Bezmenov really was. Demoralization makes it nearly impossible for them to criticize the source of the morality that they have been trained to accept. They've been pets of the establishment for so long, fighting against themselves and their own people, as if they were the ones in power for so long. They get the news from the acceptable_sources.xml, they reject unacceptable_opinions.yaml without any inspection. X is BAD, Y TOLD ME SO.

yes. was at theatre play. one point of it was, graphic designer being disgusted by templates (so me fr XD) and then, there was statement by some politician or was it some social educator? the thing was - "cows (allegory for humans) will behave the way they were taught because it is comfortable for them." also, between the same lines, "if 1000 doctors will tell you meat is healthy, you will eat it" (first is from that theatrical play, Yellow line, by some german woman author - the second one is from document on how PR "bought" America, from socialism in 30s crisis, to capitalism) :/

Drives me nuts that there is a politically active class of people that are informed by slogans alone. That when challenged on the beliefs, cannot defend them, or have "never thought of it that way".
