Hello, I'm Frank and I'm bored to death i guess I like pointless pseudo-philosophical chat and that's pretty much what attracted me to this forum. I write not-so-fancy css for living and I hope to get into the backend at some point. Now to answear some questions:

What cancelled sitcom best describes your life?

It's hard to say, as I rarely identify myself with fictional characters and I'm not really into TV series.

What does Vaporwave mean to you?

It's sort of like reading a good fantasy where you feel attached to a place that you've never been to, yet you find comfort in just thinking that you could be there.

What subgenres are you most into?

I'd say anything that's made with love, music is an experience, finding something new, something that I've never heard before is the most pleasing thing about music, so to answear the question: the one that I just discovered.

How did you find out about this place?

It was mentioned on some forum, I searched for it and here I am.

What do you do for fun?

I play videogames and pretend that I can draw. I also love discovering new music.

Yeah, i generally dont go on there a lot but was looking for some inspiration in y2k aesthetics and it thankfully it brought me here!

This mix got me into a lot of artists a long time ago but generally now the style has changed a bit. I would say Sewerslvt is the go to for most now however they also produce jungle/dnb stuff as well. Goreshit is also a good artist in the scene. Goretrance9 is a pretty good album by them.

roller skating eh? nice.
The modern roller skating scene is a fun one to be around. Don't really feel like I would fit in the culture but I went to a rink last year and it was a very fun evening.

Seinfeld? I know it wasn't cancelled but I feel like it works pretty well. Sound and fury, signifying nothing etc. etc.

What does Vaporwave mean to you?

I used to watch a lot of Star Trek TNG (and still do). I guess that show isn't explicitly vapourwave, but not much is. To me vapourwave is just a collection of incoherent meaningless parts which somehow form something meaningful and nostalgic when together.

What subgenres are you most into?

I don't know very much about the subgenres, hopefully I can learn a little more by lurking here.

I can't remember. The name sounded really familiar, like I'd definitely heard it before, and when I searched it up I found myself here.

What do you do for fun?

I'm trying to learn piano, on a shitty old Yamaha psr-6, which I guess is kind of vapourwave now that I think about it. Apar from that I read quite a bit, and spend a huge amount of time on my computer, mostly browsing the internet.

What does Vaporwave mean to you?
It's the best representation of an abstract time I cannot know. I appreciate that it can stir feelings in me despite it describing an experience I can only perceive as an outsider. Something like that reminds me that no matter how long I live I can't know everything, but I may as well try feeling everything because that's close enough for a human being.

What subgenres are you most into?
I'm not kidding, elevator music is a big one for me. It makes me feel secure and stable; I also like Hypnogogic Drift.

How did you find out about this place?
Youtube! Parallel Pipes made a video that included the Fake Internet Theory and I was incredibly interested in the other esoteric articles on the site. I'm a Philosophy student with a leaning towards theories that tend to go against the grain, so it seemed like the place for me (especially with the depth that's shown in a lot of the posts here).

What do you do for fun?
I mostly read (anything and everything), but I'm also a big film buff. I like playing games like anyone else and while it's not my main interest and I tend to do other things, I love Tetris in particular. I'm looking to get into ambient noise recording and to get better at tabletop games like Mahjong.
