what video
If true isn't it an even a larger admission that the disease was a nothing burger? I wonder if this has more to do with shielding from potential lawsuits than it does getting more flesh and blood for Israel's cause. Either way, couldn't imagine anyone foolish enough to reenlist in an establishment that essentially betrayed them. I'm trying to confirm this is real with the military people I know.
My father did it. He truly believed Saddam had nukes, and kept working for the military even after it was revealed that they had blown up the country for nothingIf true isn't it an even a larger admission that the disease was a nothing burger? I've seen some weird propaganda through the years but this one is just...odd

His channel looks garbage. I have yet to watch this video but if it's anything like the thumbnail I'll say this: It is NEVER a bad idea to look at the other side and challege your beliefs, that's called critical thinking. Leftists, (sorry, I'm generalizing), tend to make everything an issue of morality. "Why would you listen to the other side? They're evil." This to me sounds like cult brainwashing.based ngl
Why "Hearing Both Sides" Is Dangerous
Second Thought
but it is Second Thought, so... idk if the takes are good (idk socialist or similar)
also tired of these "yappers", anyone seen this vid to convince me otherwise?
ok listened a bit...
comments to help:
The problem is when describing this, it is a big societal issue, but when it comes to talking to extremest or people with objectively wrong "opinions" you can't just shut them down in conversation, or else they'll continue to live in an echo chamber. You have to act understanding in a way so you can keep the door open.
This is sort of like an explanation of the Brandolini's Asymmetry. If we spend all our time arguing against bullshit, there physically won't be enough time to come to a good solution.

The reason why no U.S politician supports a ceasefire is because it's retarded and doesn't actually solve the issue in any way. The Israelis have no reason to negotiate a ceasefire against a state that started a war against them just so they can go back to the status quo, before the conflict (i.e what caused this war in the first place). The people calling for ceasefire are your usual sheltered morons who believe that if the Israelis and Palestinians were just DECENT HUMAN BEANS, held hands and danced together they would all live happily ever after with no problem. It's all meaningless performative activism, and should be rightfully ignored when discussing a war.simple poll illustrates the end of american politics on a simple graph, illustrating how balls-out illegitimate the system has become:

You can argue the wartime logistics all you want, but that's not really the important bit of this poll. The larger point is that you'd most likely see similar numbers/polling had the question been directed towards asking if the US should be bankrolling Israel to begin with. It is telling of the overall sentiment that the average American is sick wasting money and giving special privileges to Israel while the political class keeps prioritizing Zionist desires over domestic needs. The reason why no U.S politician supports a ceasefire is because it's retarded and doesn't actually solve the issue in any way. It's a video about how the "marketplace of ideas" doesn't workHis channel looks garbage. As this persons comment you quote says "people with objectively wrong opinions" there are mountains of evidence to justify ALMOST any right-wing position. But these people don't care, "You're wrong cuz I say so." Ironically, this persons comment applies more to RW people trying to get LW people to see reason.
i should clarify that when he is talking about "parties" he is talking about amerikan political parties and not the parties involved in the actual current conflict in the middle east. i thought the fact that this was a bluesky post should make this obvious #thatsthejokesimple poll illustrates the end of american politics on a simple graph, illustrating how balls-out illegitimate the system has become:

he said it, what you say is basically the same,
like the complete cognitive dissonance of the leftlib hardcore 11k dead civilians later is completely untouched and it's really impressive how hard they're holding onto the trump derangement at this point. it's like a little blankie
The graph you posted shows that democrats at least support a ceasefire as a minority while republicans don't which means they kick those that aren't zionists out of the party.like the complete cognitive dissonance of the leftlib hardcore 11k dead civilians later is completely untouched and it's really impressive how hard they're holding onto the trump derangement at this point. it's like a little blankie
Do you think that possibly this is by design? Genuine question. This stupid image comes up over and over again, the reason nobody votes for the parties that have dealing with immigration on their platform is the fact that all their other policies are fucking terrible. It's the same with green parties, outside of their single issue they'd be absolutely awful in government.
In the case of these anti-immigration parties, it almost seems like the strat is "solve immigration by making the country so shit nobody wants to come anymore"
