I also want to ask others who are reading this thread. Personally, I'm getting very sick of these "LGBTQ" and "Trans" threads and posts that I'm seeing more and more often- shouldn't there be a containment general thread for these discussions? I say containment because the threads linked above quickly derailed into flame wars. The thread Yabba had served this well, but without that, I can see there being more of this crap polluting the forum. What makes it worse is it seems to be coming from a lot of new posters who don't really know how to create a good thread, and seem so mentally overencumbered they strike up a flame war instead.

I'm of two minds on this. On one side it is nice to have a place you can discuss the issues of the day without being dogpiled and I find agora to have a pretty high standard of discourse compared to other "free speech" zones on the net. On the other, it gets tiring seeing the same bullshit get bumped to the top and I am concerned it will cause more culture warriors to join the site and shit it up (mea culpa). The issue with containment zones is that they're more like attraction zones, and the people they attract then cross-pollinate their shit to other threads.

Perhaps a way to "sage" when posting would help, because just me posting will bump the thread and contribute to more posts which will bump etc.

Am I in the wrong for saying I don't care anymore? I guess I have fatigued from this topic incredibly, when I was younger I used to be much more passionate about the issue. But frankly, after all this time; after all these years, I just can't give a shit anymore. Should I have a stance on a topic that no matter where I fucking go it is always shoved in my face? I don't know, but I feel like its better not to give a shit about it.

I used to not a give a shit about trannies before. Then trannies went after my favorite hobbies and hobbies and ruined them to shove their degenerate agendas, they started acting like crybullies and professional victims, they pretend having the moral ground against communities they hate like the anime ones...

My biggest issue with transgender ideology is the entire idea that children can somehow consent to irreversibly changing their gender.
I never have found a convincing explanation.
