I'll edit OP, I forgot that the 60s, despite being the most turbulent decade of US history, it had good cars.

Old Jaguar ads were the best. "Grace, space, pace" etc
I feel that print advertising has become a lost art.
The playful taglines were often cheesy, but still charming in their simplicity and earnestness.

There's something so comfy about old 50s and 60s car ads, the way they try to communicate the benefits of this machine to you and your family's life I reckon would still be a winning formula today.

I have a weird obsession with the Silver Anniversary Corvette because my dad spent a couple years of my childhood flipping one as a hobby project and I'd sneak into it all the time and pretend to be a racecar driver.
The ad's kinda lame though:

Feels phoned-in. But I love that font.
Looks like the ads for 'vettes in the 70s weren't that cool. Except this ad for a poster:

Chrysler Airflow in particular has been a huge bet for Chrylser, and the huge advertisement company for it included three movies... I know I've translated them to my language, but let me know if you want to see them - I'm pretty sure I've saved the original english audio as well.

P.S. Sorry for going below the 60's but those Vette and Airflow ads are just so sweet. I hope you'll agree with me.
