Hey everyone, here's the May artist's/producer's thread for this month where you can post what you've been working on and give feedback on other people's work. This is the Schools Out Edition! So beat those exams and make those tunes!

Wow, props on just how long those songs are, damn that's impressive, but yeah I haven't gotten too deep but I'm planning on it, so far I'm getting a telepath vibe, nice job, and "fucks wedding" is great.

I really enjoyed how each part of the song transitions smoothly to one another. My favorite part, however, has to be the third one, I just love how it sounds very celestial. I don't really have much else to say other than that you did a pretty good job with this one. Wow laCroix日食, great moves, keep it up, proud of you.

Just uploaded this WIP. It's super weird and I don't even think it counts as vaporwave. Tried experimenting with some more lofi kinda stuff and a synth-layered organ sample with a bass sound I liked a lot. I also added a stupid rain sound and used some lofi-type samples for a couple of the drum pieces.

I think it's cool but at the same time i'm like what the hell even is this

This is super impressive! The best thing about it is knowing what songs are combined together and knowing each of their individual moods, but then hearing them come together and they sound completely refreshed. It's even cooler that these vocals and instrumentals can sound great together even though their styles and genres are from completely different eras of music.

Great job, I'm really really impressed by this.

I really like this! It has a very unique sound and an eerie feel to it. Makes me think of some sort of spooky video game or something. It really sounds like it belongs to a story, like maybe in a poorly lit bar or in a closed arcade or mall (mallsoft!)
