ITT: I attempt to capture a city in Rome Total War. This was my first time since being able to play the game without hiccups of my old computer. I like to thank a friend of mine on discord for showing me how to open the game tab bar on windows and was able to record footage on it. Sadly, the quality I just realized is shit and the bit rate is shit. Oh well. Enjoy and rate my attempt thanks.

I'm still shocked to this day that they made a TV series out of this in the UK. Gaming and mainstream media was just so at odds, it was a really daring feat to broadcast this to the general public. I remember it being quite popular.

tbh i'm still confused how american pay taxes, i remember they do that at the start of the year, but i don't do that, i just pay what is deducted from my payment

For a country with a lack of healthcare, transportation and decent welfare, the gov seems to take a lot of money from taxes in the usa.

State law says 18 but federal law says 21 for handgun so it has to be from private sale and not a gun store

You can drink at 18 in a lot of states, just if your either with a parent and/or on private property

I see, well no drinking in the park then

Most state governments were actually super pissed when they raised the age to 21

Like in my state, state law says the tobacco age is 18 but federal law says 21 and stores are forced to follow FDA rules (federal level) so theres this weird thing where I can't buy tobacco but I also wouldn't get in trouble with state law enforcement if they see me with it

Federal laws should be preempted by state laws.

I really think the states rights were correct after seeing the mess coming out of federal.

IKR, arguably even worse since with the British we were mostly just upset over taxes. With the US feds I could list off a billion different things
  • Pangolin:
And go even further state laws become preempted by county laws. Moving power down the chain and closer to the people.
  • Cobalt:
A minority of the population in Colonial America supported the American revolution and that ought to scare the feds now lol

idk if this is a hot take but I genuinely believe we are going to either have another civil war and/or balkanize within the next 50 years
