As a kid I sometime played a game called Curling DS:

(Yes this is the highest resolution I could find).

It's a curling game by Ubisoft that feature anime girls. There is not a lot info about this game on the internet (compared to other DS games)

Probably not obscure at all, but wanted to share a childhood favorite. My beloved Portrait of Ruin, I played this game a ton on a friend's copy. I got to 1000% completion before I bought my own copy to play it again. I have the entire printed gamefaqs guide, my friend's dad printed it for him and I inherited it. The thing's like 90+ pages of text, I love looking at it and being reminded of a simpler time on the internet.

Brief shout-out to Sonic Rush for being a decent sonic game with an AMAZING soundtrack that has hit after hit after hit. It's so different from the others in the series, I love it so much.

Also, first MegaMan game. This thing was brutal. I ended up beating it recently with the re-release, but I was surprised to see how technical this game can get. Love when a game lets you be style.

As someone who predominantly grew up on the DS (before I was given a 3DS and my life changed forever), my sister and I had a few Nintendo classics, but we mostly had shovelware. I didn't get to play a lot of those growing up, but I had my own games that are near and dear to my heart.

I played this game so much as a kid. I'm pretty sure I unlocked every unlockable in the entire game. Plus getting to learn all of the characters in the Sanrio universe for the first time was pretty awesome for 7 year old me!

Namco Museum DS

I know this collection isn't as good as, say the PS1 versions, but I was so engrossed in this game for so long it isn't even funny. I got to learn a lot about Namco's history, and it really got me more into retro/arcade games as I got older. I'm aware of the Pacman multiplayer, but I never actually played it.

This game I'm listing because I'm aware it's well known, but in my opinion it doesn't get enough love. It's leagues better than its 3DS successors, and it really is a wonderful time capsule into the late 2000s in terms of all the different and diverse fashion trends out there. I could write an essay on why this game is so amazing.
I had my Namco Museum bout too. Galaga was and still is my jam. I heard the DS version doesn't have all the games as in other versions, which is sad.
