fork farm flex farms, Verticle hydroponic towers, are not really efficient because they are not really modular and blockage from salts and minerals are common.

I finally got around to showing off my family's greenhouse. A little late and shit quality but it is what it is lol

I forgot to mention, but we got like 15 fist sized or larger tomatoes, and a ton of cherry tomatoes from just those 4 plants.

also not in the video, we have a passionfruit vine that grew fruit for the first time!, not sure the fruits will ripen properly, but its cool anyways. The flowers are literally the best smelling thing I have ever smelled.

this is basil bought from the supermarket and planted with worm castings from the vermicomposter. Its been alive for a year and a half now, and we have endless fresh basil.

we also grew a ton of stuff outside the greenhouse too, peppers, carrots, beets, lettuce, spinach, arugula, beans, raspberries, black raspberries(superior berry), potatoes, and peas, but that's mostly gone now. This is all under a ton of shade from 5 trees too!

Its not as cool as Oasisboi's setup yet, but I'm getting there someday!

This is super cool !!! This greenhouse is awesome. I love how chaotic/not micromanaged everything is, as nature intended. I urge you to try aquaponics as it does really well in greenhouses and its somewhat simple if you start out small. I love the tour. So much vibrancy and love!

Good video that affirms an agreeable view of the world (a condensed form of all his other videos.). I would like to see more people cover mental health and illness adaptation. Also how to work around our current generational problems like the lgbtq, Antifa, blm regimes, and those that suffered trauma and how they currently spread it, either by inflicting it on others to spreading dangerous nontraditional destructive methods of living like telling children they are the opposite sex because they like something.

I had a professor who was a part of the german degrowth movement in like the 90s, and, to paraphrase her words, she thought the degrowth movement should do degrowth and let whatever's next take over.
I could probably find her power point and send it to you tho if you want. its been a while since i saw it so i dont remember exactly what her argument was.

Rewilding is unbelievably important.

Also, I gave my mum some assorted medicinal herb seeds so I'll share that progress once she's started growing them

I don't have a greenhouse but a small raised bed. It's pretty much just practice for when I get land, at which point my goal would shift to being able to grow enough food to live off of (in combination with whatever livestock I raise). I'll probably still buy out of season things as available since that's a luxury I very much enjoy, but I definitely want to be able to be more self-sufficient. I've grown numerous species already but I'm most excited to try fruit trees once I have enough space. I live in USDA zone 6 (barely, close to 5), and know some people growing citrus. I tried and failed but haven't given up yet.

Awesome! I live in zone 5a, Make sure to use native plants and all composting to your advantage !!
If you use instagram look up the solarpunk farmer for some nice tips. Growing your own food is essential these days, the less the system controls us the freer we are to be healthy and think. :MacTonight: : TeaTime:

I was a bit late to setting up my garden this year so unfortunately no spinach. I was happy to see I have a lot of volunteers of things I actually want to grow (lettuce, dill, green onion). Went out and direct sowed some of the cool weather crops. I also set up another bucket for potatoes so hopefully I'll get double the harvest I did last year. Looking forward to a month or so when I can get the warmer weather crops in the ground and harvest my garlic!
