To be fair, that is because Thanksgiving is only celebrated in a select few countries~
As an American, the sentiment of Thanksgiving being the forgotten middle child is true. There are no costumes or gifts like one sees on Halloween or Christmas. And immediately after Thanksgiving is Black Friday, which is intended for getting cheap shit for your friends and family for Christmas, which marketers hype up during all of November

Yeah, that's fair. I kinda wish we celebrated a form of thanksgiving here so that we could have a holiday between Halloween and Christmas since once Halloween is over here, shops and stuff immediately start putting up christmas decorations and playing dreadful chrimbo music

Just celebrate whenever you want imo.

For the relatives and I, we usually start decorating around the 5th of December. Christmas tree won't be up til' around the 10th, though.
