Posted this in the e-zine submissions thread a few months back. It really is a great site.

World Dream Bank: PLANETOCOPIA
The author of this has been working on it since the mid-2000's. It's an impressively detailed series of "a group of model worlds supporting intelligent life", including alien worlds, alternate versions of Earth, and terraformed worlds within our solar system. Some of the species he invents are kinda... wince-inducing, and sometimes come off as furrybait even though they're really not. But everything else about it is amazing. He doesn't just organize and present research for what a world might look like - he hand-crafts an IRL model of every single world and paints them, to scale, with pages and pages dedicated to every continent or region on the planet, and shows all the mathematics and geology he did to sculpt them as accurately as possible. Any one of his articles is a genuinely fascinating read, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has the time.

You want to buy a fursuit but don't want one that became the town bike? In this website you can see most fursuits backgrounds. Furries amaze me with their organisation skills tbh. This websites is from fucking 2005 and still somewhat active.

I have no idea what this site really is, it has good sections that are fun to read. Go figure it out yourself, i liked IT support parts a lot.

Vintage toys, people here might even be able to buy some.

A website about alchemy

Cybergrunge, a site that hosts media, VST plugins, and is simply cool to behold

GX Jupitter-Larsen's official website. He's a prolific experimental electronic/noise musician. Click the silhouettes to enter, then see how many links you can follow before you start asking questions

Kaoss Edge's official site (fake band created by Oneohtrix Point Never when he was releasing Garden of Delete)

I found these on a /g/ thread earlier and thought they were pretty cool:

evergreen
Really cool website design centered around an ASCII tree with links as leaves. Not finished but I like the idea a lot.
xenobyte
A very stylized CRT/command line-esque blog(?) with lots of cool stuff to see. Also has a CSS tutorial on how to do the scan line effect somewhere.
cameron's world
An archive of GeoCities GIFs and random assets.

Pouet
And I have no idea what this one is but I found it on my bookmarks from forever ago, seems to be some kind of demoscene site. Either way, I like the design, and it might have cool stuff on it?

Yeah, pouët is a huge collection of demos and demo resources. Really cool site. The aesthetic reflects a lot of popular demos from years ago as well.

Related, anyone interested in the old school demoscene, but wants to recreate the effects in HTML5 instead, they should check out CODEF

Up-and-coming music blog that covers pretty much every genre. Everything I've heard on it so far has been quality

Curlie. First, some background: some of you from the old web may have been familiar with the Mozilla Directory, or DMOZ. It was basically the largest human-curated and maintained directory of websites on the Internet. It was really cool because you could just click around into categories that you found interesting and would come across all kinds of unique websites that catered to them rather than trying to find stuff by a clunky search engine. Anyways, the DMOZ closed up, but many of the editors moved on to Curlie, which is basically the same thing

Chaos Matrix

Free text to speech with over 1200 recognizable voices. Results may vary and may occasionally not even work, but it's fun
