RAVENSBURG is a fast-hitting RPG inspired by camp and class B horror movies of the early 2000s. Step into a city turned upside down by a terrifying Gnostic cult as a vampire sent by the Church to defeat the diabolical menace. You're the last resort, the pill that is too hard to swallow, the cure bitter than the sickness. And you must save the City before the Demiurgic forces destroy it completely. Survive this blend of Gothic horror, Lovecraftian tale and anime aesthetics with the help of your 11 charismatic companions, each with their own personality and agenda, forge friendships or more with them as you work together to reclaim the city.

Embody Valdrich, a vampire with a gift for fighting and a rather questionable talent for thinking, and Kazia, his loyal companion with a lethal aim, but whose patience is shorter than the lives of their enemies.

The art looks really good! Both the pixel art of the areas and the character designs. Also I like the harem of goth girl waifus

While I don't think this game is my style; I still think it looks fantastic! The art feels both old, like the 80-90s anime aesthetic you were going for, but still feels fresh at the same time. I also really like the colors used; instead of being bleak and desaturated like most vampire media, the vibrant yet dark palette really gives the game its own identity.

I went ahead and wishlisted the game to hopefully boost it for the Steam algorithm. Good luck on the rest of development and release; you've done a great job so far.

Thanks for the wishlist and the honest feedback! Indeed, I'm a lover for vampire media but it was always a pet-petvee of mine they decided to use desaturated palettes. And since the main inspiration for the game aesthetics is late 90s and early 00s edgy anime it was a non-started to go for a high contrast but still dark colour scheme. But I would lie if I said I didn't think of using a colour filter a la Matrix or Underworld to make it look more retro lmao. It has its charm.

The Villain Update is finally here!
Introducing new companions, quests, locations with puzzles, powerful new bosses, and polished CGs for each new character! This is the big update promised in a previous announcement; and now it's live.

Here's a spoiler-free breakdown of what's new:

• New Map: The Labyrinth of Urth. A cursed and sinister maze said to hold a powerful treasure at its heart.
• New Map: Apartment 66. What horrors lurk in the foul, shadowed halls of this decaying building?
