So check it, a dude named Joe started making a webcomic about his experience in a verifiably true child-abusing "behavior-modification" program called The Elan School.

His webcomic Joe vs. Elan School is still a work in progress, with chapters once or twice a month. It is fucking nuts and the level of detail being described leaves no doubt that this stuff went down. And even if you don't believe Joe, a quick google search will show hundreds of other survivors of these kinds of programs speaking out about the same abuses.

Like many content creators, he eventually made his way to reddit. He created a subreddit about the comic and has spent about 2 years building it up through posting new chapters and word of mouth from supporters like me.

The unethical, child-abusing degenerates running >redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk recently decided that he was getting too popular on his own and banned him, probably falling back on some obscure rule written specifically to let them ban anyone.

You don't have to take my word for it, scroll to the end of this recent chapter where Joe writes a message about

1.) watching his comic go viral on askreddit
2.) watching his subreddit jump by 10,000 subscribers
3.) waking up the next morning to a permanent lifetime ban from >redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk
4.) realizing that he was the only one is his sub with permissions to post, so now he cannot reach any of the 25k subscribers with new chapters, or updates
5.) begins to write admins asking why, only to be ghosted
All of this happened before this new >redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk pedo, child-abusing, admin drama came out. I just want to point that out. And if you cannot see the connection between these two events, then you are beyond hope.

I read the webcomic and this shit reminds me of the abuses of the ranch that Dr. Phil recommend that trouble teens go into. But FUCK Elan School! I only read the Chapter linked and its fucking maddening. The only thing that this "school" would make is future sociopaths.

>redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk has absolutely been doing their best to make the various speculations about their involvement in some child abuse network seem plausible.

Im not sure how true it still is but a couple years back I read that the top 100 subreddits are all moderated by the same group of 5-10 people. Im not sure if its gotten better or worse, but >redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk is hardly a community site anymore. All the moderation is clearly one sided and more in favor of playing on the safe side rather than risking creating a flow of free information. It sucks to see what was once a site for for niches and lesser known interests become just another twitter or facebook.

For real. it's like they're trying to act suspicious lmao.

But yeah, no real surprises here. It's no secret that >redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk mods/admins are, in many cases, power-tripping weirdos.

I didn't want to go around "doxxing" people, but I did some digging around during that recent fiasco. Aimee wasn't hired willy-nilly. I don't necessarily believe in guilt by association, but I did find an "LGBTQIA+ power mod who had befriended both Aimee and Aimee's husband before Aimee was hired.

There's a level of acceptance in the "LGBTQIA+" community for people like convicted child abusers, and the less-severe law-abiding pedophiles. I won't claim to understand it, but I think there's a lot of validity to the idea that the very vocal "LGBTQIA+" community online has a lot of pull with these types of companies. I don't think there's some big Q-anon level conspiracy to get pedos into high places, but I do think that such an influential community can come off as threatening enough to cause a company to look the other way. Don't want to hire Aimee? "Aimee didn't do anything wrong! You're just transphobic!"

Since I alluded to someone but didn't name them, I'll let you all do some searching around on your own if you'd like. You have the "fake" tweet from Aimee's husband with his username in it; see what Google turns up if you'd like. Lots of degen fiction, but also other forms of social media. I don't anticipate that you'll find a big conspiracy at the end of the rabbit hole, but I made sure to archive.org pages that linked them all together on the off-chance that there was more to the story than I was seeing.

and this should be obvious but free speech on >redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk died with Aaron Swartz. It kinda sucks now but eh, got me a death's dynamic shroud repress today so :)

:( I am not surprised, actually... It's to be expected. Everytime someone tries to come out with a story of childhood abuse at the hands of a pedophile on >redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk, all admins jump on board to downvote.

I say it because it happened to me.

And the reason for that is probably this gif which to me sums up every reason for the poor decisions made.

>redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk is poison, I stay away from any mainstream subreddit. I stick to guitar subreddits, some music subreddits and some gaming subreddits.

>redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk admins are demonic democrats. burn em
The only redeeming aspect of >redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk are some subreddits which still retain that old community feeling to them. I hope those can keep their goodness and not degrade.

in the subs I'm on, they're pretty topic specific. guitar subreddits are generally pepole posting guitars and talking about them. it never REALLY gets political.

some music subreddits are full on leftists circle jerks, I can't count the times I've been banned from r/wearethemusicmakers or some gaming subreddits for saying hitler was an inbred socialist faggot or advocating execution of nazis and their sympathizers....also, believe it or not, some >redditcostanzayeahrightsmirk mods REALLY REALLY hate Abe Lincoln and Lincolnism
