これは、マトリックス内の電話のように見えるように設計された電話に関する興味深いビデオです。昔は楽しいデザインの携帯電話がたくさんありましたが、クールな高校生全員がこれを持っていたに違いありません

This is an interesting video about a phone designed to look like a phone in the Matrix. There used to be a lot of fun-designed phones, but every cool high school student must have had one.

I really love phones designed with gimmicks like this! I miss when there were a lot of phones with fun designs. One of my favorite weird ones are the Wellwishing's Buddha Phone and its knockoff, the C91 Golden-Buddha phone, which came in a clamshell style and had everything centered around the swastika as a symbol of divinity. They were all made in expensive metals and marketed as a luxury good. There was actually a trend of Buddha-themed phones for a while, here's a neat blog post from 2009 I found about it.

You may recall these were washing up on French beaches for years:

They were all coming out of a shipping container stuck in a cave somewhere.
There's a lot more of these character landline phones that were popular, ranging from mickey mouse to hello kitty. I saw people using them as late as 2007!

Of all the things to wash up on a beach, thousands of Garfield phones are among the most terrifying.

Dude thanks for sharing this, I love those phones! I remember character phones were popular even into the early 2010s, or just novelty shaped ones like the hamburger phone

Apparently the Garfield ones were washing up for over 35 years which is an insane period of time to be plagued by an endless stream of Garfield phones. I kinda want one.

My first cellphone, the year was 2005 and I was in junior high. This thing would literally last a full day on charge and maybe 2 days
aw man, love models like these. I had something similar:

it was quite novel and exciting that my phone doubled as an mp3 player... I still have some pictures I took on it and they're really not bad. I'd kill time on it playing snake and tetris.

What I had VS. What my friends had circa 2007? 2008?
I loved the keyboard on my phone (mostly the way it felt using T9), but the full keyboard on their phones was really interesting to me.
I remember the camera having extremely better quality as well.
