If I had more time, I would install it on my 2nd laptop. It seems so cool
VM. Easier that way. No iso though, you'll have to build it yourself.

Which means I need to download WSL 2, the dependencies et similia and follow an afternoon of instructions? Maybe this summer, but not now, unfortunately

I've been following Andreas Kling & SerenityOS for a while now. This is a great project and Andreas is a great guy from what I've seen. I'd be interested in using the OS in the future. I love Debian/GNUstep though.

I'm going to install this on my old HP Stream. Anything I should know?
I think hardware support is limited at this time but it sounds like @cynthiune might be able to provide more info. I'd suggest a VM over bare metal.

I've never actually installed SerenityOS on hardware or VM, but from what I understand right now, they aren't providing any ISO's to install to bare metal at the moment because development is moving so fast it would be outdated tomorrow (paraphrasing Andreas here don't remember where he said it.) I think you'd have to build it from source in order to do that. Otherwise a virtual machine is probably a better bet. Disclaimer this could all be incorrect information.
