Hi guys, I fucked around in FL Studio for a bit and discovered really cool plugin called Direct Wave, and I have some questions about it and soundwave manipulation.

First and foremost, I have watched a few "vaporwave tutorials" on YouTube and saw that no one used samplers such as Direct Wave for sample manipulation, so my question is:
What do you think is the best method for said techniques? I'm talking about, for example, how death's dynamic shroud or

uses various samples to create a whole different music notes.
I don't know If you get what I mean, and I can try to explain it further if it's not clear.

Second question is:
Do you know any good guides for sound wave manipulation and sampling? (sorry that I overuse this term, but I have no idea how to call it)
I've tried to search for any more technical/"scientific" articles or publications but I couldn't find any.

I checked out pinned tutorials of course but I don't think anything is covering what I'm looking for (If I'm just blind let me know)

Of course and tips and helpful sources would be appreciated :)

音を操作する最良の方法は、アナログ機器を使用することだと思います。テープデッキまたはサウンドボードを使用して、サウンドを物理的に操作できます。この方法のかなり良い例を次に示します。

One thing I like to do in Audacity is really zoom in on the sound waves until they look like stalactites and stalagmites, this intricate cave rushing past me at blazing fast speeds, and once you get to that point you can appreciate the intricacy of sound waves in real time.
