I'm looking for it but can't find it. I just remember someone in the comments on the >reddit post was crying about someone saying natsoc stuff in the chat and the admin saying they were banned shortly after. The original post that the replies were from had the words "free speech" somewhere in there unless I dreamed it. I swear I've seen similar signaling on youtube as well, but I'm not even going to attempt to find that. I have no idea what I was searching for when I ran across those posts but it wasn't "agora road" since I'm not finding it with that search.Yeah, I also have a Hello Kitty badge and a badge that says "Anime is gay as hell and I approve!". Is this a kiddie-centric lgbt rights anime forum? Those are just aesthetics from a time since passed.
I'd also be curious to see this >reddit shilling if you have the link perchancenstance.
Sure, even on the Codex we have moderation, though it's pretty hard to get banned there. I'm just saying you can't call yourself free speech if you ban certain viewpoints you don't agree with or speech you find offensive. Racist stuff isn't some special thing that has it's own category. It's still speech.I believe in free speech but I also dont want it to be abused. Forum moderation is key for a healthy community.
I'm not really trying to argue with you or ask you to let me say the n-word on here, I just don't like when people try to act like they stand for free speech when they actually don't. Either you're for free speech or you aren't and you definitely aren't. You're using the same signaling as anyone else who bans speech they don't like by calling it "abuse".
Abuse of speech would be things like an actionable call to violence. Not racism.
