Holy crap that album kicks ass! Now I want to make some vapormetal.
If you post this on r/vaporave the genre cops might crap themselves, but I'm all for it.

He also samples heavily from Bolt Thrower which make WH40K themed music

Thanks so much. THIS MUSIC KICKS ASS! It definitely has some of those vaporwave vibes in there but has some punchy breaks and slamming guitars. I'm definitely gonna do a dig into their discography.

I recommend checking out "Yakui the Maid" or "maidcore"
Just came across it randomly in a yt suggestion while browsing doom metal.
It is kinda slow and sentimental, it frequently incorporates heavy distorted electronic guitars and also dnb/breakcore elments. Seldomly all together sadly.
It is probably the most "fusion", fusion genre i have come across. Very post, very alternative, maybe even emo (dream???), the second track on the mix is very djenty even, idk man
See/hear for yourself, browse around, find a pattern maybe

edit: searched the 'road for mentions and mydadiscar is heavily into it, described it the following way
"Maidcore Music - a variety of genres of electronic music, characterized by hard guitar riffs and solos washed down, 8-16 bit parts from ancient tape recorders and old-time segovod toys, screaming women (both in the base and on the backs), depressive-aggressive melody, which is achieved with the help of synth voices and ONIMEE bullshit for beauty, also characteristic breakbeat parts with growling 808 basses in 3 roads and of course vicious hats in a pile with lo-fi effects of idm styles."

Wow thanks so much for this suggestion bro. YakuI THE MAID SLAPS. I gotta say I hear a very distinct Sewerslvt and Crystal Castles influence, but with post Grunge, Shoegaze, and even Nu-metal instrumentation. I didn't know I needed this fusion genre until now, and now that I have listened to it I cannot get enough of it. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Post-punk new wave,
Isn't it little bit similar to outrun and then vaporwave?
