There was a video I remember taken by some western tourist to North Korea who had made it his mission to visit every country on earth. So he's in the tour group and the appointed official is showing everyone the statues and sights, and suddenly, while filming, he starts asking the tour guide provocative political questions and just makes a complete ass of himself. I'll never forget the exasperated look on her face, that poor tour guide. Pisses me off that the comment section was full of people telling him how stunning and brave he was to harass a woman who's just trying to do her job with a bunch of retarded questions about Korean political figures.

I am surprised he wasn't immediately thrown into jail and fed to ravenous dogs. North Koreans do not play around with the "woke" and "brave."

It may be that the tour guides are prepped beforehand to deal with people like him. They probably don't want to arrest western tourists if they can help it, I'd imagine it's a real pain to deal with politically. "Okay if they start asking you X or doing X, just say Y, if he starts disobeying the tour group rules give him a warning, and only if he starts getting really out of control, then call us and we'll put him away"

That's western people really, they go to other civilizations and countries to do stupid shit like, questioning tourist about sterotypes their media constantly shows, ruin the environment with their trash and excessive hedonistic livestyle, just because they are tourist people think they can do stupid shit without any consecuence really, is disgusting how people travel just to do those kind of stuff, i mean, he thinks he is a brave "Liberator and defender of democracy" just for harass another person who are just working, people in north korea is the same as us, they just live under a different culture and government, that's it, that's all, and she seems kinda respectful even, unlike americans, if you dare to speak badly about trump or biden, they just go ape shit.

To be honest guys, don't be rude and stupid, treat the locals with respect (tbh, North Korea did well in banning visitors from the USA, they just bring a lot of mess to any place they go)
