I've been playing a lot of The House In Fata Morgana the past few days and it's shaping up to be one of my favorite games ever. Never read or watched Shakespeare but I imagine this is what a Shakespearian tragedy would be like. It's a tale of tragedy about the house's inhabitants one after another throughout the centuries, each one exploring the darkest sides of the human psyche like envy, violence and resentment.
The artstyle and music creates this creepy, dreamy atmosphere that unsettles you at first and lures you in as you get comfortable with it. It's not quite a horror game, but it is a dark game; the gothic element of it all adding to the beauty of this VN. I think that if you like VNs you can safely believe in the 10/10 hype Fata Morgana gets and give it a shot. I'm still at the part where
