How about the Casio 5610? It's old school, solar powered, always accurate time due to daily time sync with the atomic clock. Looks like it's on sale for half price right now on amazon at the price I bought it for 3 years ago. I can't believe they're 150 fucking dollars normally now. This "inflation" is ridiculous. 10% inflation but everything is fucking twice as much:

If you want to go really cheap, like 15 bucks cheap, you can pick one up that's just a standard quartz without time sync, only water resistant and not proof, and has a 7 year battery. Click on the link and not the irrelevant picture, it's being fucked up:

Damn half off and still $79. Solar power is cool though. I like the idea of it lasting FOREVER. Just feel like it should be $7.90 instead of $79 heh.

Casio F-91W. Dirt cheap, indestructible, minimalist, the favorite of guerilla fighters & +2 stdev IQ autists.

I know we're cutting teeth on price now, but I recommend the non-solar version (DW5600E-1V) if you still want G-Shock. I've had it for years and still looks great. Haven't needed any battery replacements. Generally these batteries last 8+ years.

Timex is the only other brand that has products in this category worth considering.

Leaning towards F-91W-1 or F-105W-1A right now.

Buy a casio, specially a G-Shock, they usually costs around 70 to 100 dollars, but they are worth it, my uncle gave me one for christmas, he is a retired general and told me these kind of watches never die, and he was right, mine still works up to this day.
