I'd initially think when I got my Nintendo DS when I was a kid would be one, but I have a more interesting one that may have been before or after, but it's probably one that sticks out to me the most. I was about five or six years old, and I'd stumbled upon my Dad playing this game all of a sudden, and I just watched and begged him to let me try, this might have happened a few times and he let me play just once. It was a point and click adventure game called The Neverhood, and what I remember most is going down a ladder and getting stuck on what to do in this area.

This specific image was one of the most vivid 'image' memories I ever had, but as I got older I couldn't place where it came from and it really just stayed in the back of my mind until a year or two ago I stumbled on this picture on Google Images. As a kid, I remember though it interesting to finally play the game, I was also very unnerved. The character walked weird and goofy, I could not figure out how to do anything, and this scene just looks so surreal and void. I really dig it now though
I don't know if this would be my first tech memory but it is my favourite.
