What was your first computer system?

Same. Frutiger aero is overlooked as aesthetic. Skeuomorphism and nature wallpapers. That kind of digital zen i want. Not that horrendous alegria which is more political statements disguised as happy deformed people with colorful palletes and to get addicted to social media is happy.
I finally have a name for that aesthetic. Words to a an idea. Thanks!

Mine was a Cyrix 6x86 PR120 (real clock speed was 90 Mhz) based desktop around '95 with 8, then 16 and then with 32 Mb EDO RAM, a 1.3 Gb HDD, a S3 Trio64 V2 GX/DX VGA, an OPTi 82C931 ISA sound card and a TEAC 4x CD-ROM with a 14" analog CRT display. It was rad. It was still working in 2001 as my parents replaced it, but i killed the CD-ROM drive (magic smoke) so had to replace it with a 42x CD-ROM.

10 years old, Christmas present for my brother and I was a pizza box Mac LCIII. 25mhz, 4 mb ram , 80 mb hard drive running system 7. First games were space quest IV (on about a hundred floppies) and kid pix. Over the years upgraded the ram, added a floating point card, CD-ROM and eventually a modem... Probably directly responsible for my current career in IT.

Oh man... Long time ago...

It was a generic PC made by parts. It had 2GB of HDD, I think, 16MB of RAM, a Creative SoundBlaster for audio and a 32MB Video RAM graphics card (I don't remember the name). It ran Windows 98 for years.

I played a lot of games on that computer. I had my first 56kbps modem at home with that computer...

Old times, for sure.
